   Solvatochromism Effect of Different Solvents on UV-Vis Spectra of Flouresceine and its Derivatives.

چکیده    The solvatochromism of fluoresceine and its derivatives was studied in solvents of different hydrogen bond donor (hbd), hydrogen bond acceptor (hba), donor number (dn) and acceptor number (an) by their uv-vis spectra. results showed that position, intensity and shape ofabsorption bands change with type of solvent. these changes can be rationalized by solvatochromic parameters such as (alpha), (beta), et (30), dn and an using multiple linear regression (mlr) technique. correlation coefficients of obtained equations were 0.965-0.999.
