چکیده
|
A zinc complex, (me-hq-h) [zni₂(me-hq)], was synthesized via a straightforward reaction between zni₂ and 2-methyl-8-quinolinol (me-hq). the complex was characterized using multiple techniques, including elemental analysis (chn), ft-ir, ¹h and ¹³c nmr and uv–vis spectroscopy, with its molecular structure confirmed through x-ray diffraction analysis. in the study of organic light emitting diodes (oleds), the zinc complex was employed as a dopant at two different concentrations to achieve green electroluminescence. photoluminescence (pl), current-voltage (i-v), and electroluminescence (el) evaluations were orchestrated, revealing that higher dopant levels led to charge trapping, which resulted in self-quenching and reduced efficiency. green electroluminescence was observed at wavelengths of 517 nm and 539 nm from devices 2 and 3, respectively.
