چکیده
|
The ceo2/bi2wo6 nanocomposite was synthesized using sonochemical and hydrothermal methods. it was studied for its catalytic activity in reducing 4-nitrophenol (4-np), 4-nitroaniline (4-na), chromium (vi), rhodamine b(rhb) and methylene blue (mb) in aqueous solutions. analytical techniques like fourier transform infrared (ft-ir) spectroscopy, photoluminescence (pl) spectroscopy, brunauer-emmett-teller (bet), x-ray diffraction (xrd), transmission electron microscopy (tem), uv–visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (drs), energy dispersive x-ray (edx) spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (sem) were used to characterize the nanocomposites. the ceo2/bi2wo6 10% composite showed the most effective results, achieving the complete reduction of 4-nitrophenol in 10 minutes. the nanocomposite also demonstrated impressive recyclability, indicating its potential for practical applications.
