پیامدهای رویکردهای اثبات‌گرایانه برای مطالعات اسلامی در محیط آکادمیک ایران

اثبات‌گرایی البته نه دقیقاً در معنای همان پوزیتیویسم عصر روشنگری و مدرنیته رویکرد غالب در مطالعات اسلامیِ آکادمیک ایران است. رویکرد اثبات‌گرایانه در مطالعات اسلامی ایران با پوزیتیویسم منطقی و فلسفۀ تحلیلی قرابت دارد. البته این شباهت شباهت‌های کلی است که مراد از آن، تشابه نحوۀ دستیابی به معرفت از طریق اثبات است و درعینِ‌حال، تفاوت‌هایی نیز در این میان وجود دارند که نباید نادیده گرفته شود. غلبۀ اثبات‌گرایی بر مطالعات اسلامی در ایران سبب شده است تا ظرفیت‌هایی که می‌توانند براساس رویکردهای تفسیری تفهمی و تاریخیِ برخاسته از سنت قاره‌ای فعال شوند، مغفول بمانند؛ ظرفیت‌هایی مانند منظرگرایی، مطالعه در سطح فرهنگی اجتماعی و کارکردهای دینی، ارج‌نهادن تفاوت‌ها و اهمیت‌دادن به خلاقیت، توجه به دانش‌های مبتنی بر نتایج ظنی نظیر تاریخ، مردم‌شناسی و ... ازجمله این موارد هستند.

Consequences of positivistic approaches to Islamic studies in the Iranian academic environment

Positivism though not exactly in the sense of the positivism of the Enlightenment and modernity is the dominant approach in Iranian academic Islamic studies. The positivistic approach in Islamic studies of Iran is closely related to logical positivism and analytic philosophy. Of course, these similarities are general similarities that mean the similarity of how knowledge is obtained through proof, and at the same time there are some differences that should not be ignored. The dominance of positivism over Islamic studies in Iran has led to the neglect of capacities that can be activated based on interpretivecomprehension and historical approaches arising from the continental tradition; Capacities such as landscape, study at the sociocultural level and religious practices, respecting differences and giving importance to creativity, paying attention to knowledge based on suspicious results such as history, anthropology, etc. are among these cases.
