وادی نانوشته؛ چگونگی تقابل صورت و معنی در منظومۀ عرفانی منطق‌الطیر

عطار در منطق‌الطیر از هفت وادی نام می‌برد؛ اما یک وادی نانوشته وجود دارد و آن گذشتن از صورت و رسیدن به معنی است. این موضوع به‌صورتِ تقابل این دو در کل منطق الطیر به‌ شکلی نانوشته و نامنسجم منعکس شده است. در سخن عطار، صورت در مفهوم مجاز، کثرت‌ها، ظاهر، دنیا و وابستگی‌های به آن دیده می‌شود و معنی نیز در مفهوم وحدت، باطن، روح، تعالی و رسیدن به حقیقت می‌آید. حکایت این مرغان را هم در شکل و قالب و هم در محتوا و معنا می‎توان گذر از صورت به معنی دانست؛ زیرا عطار از قالب داستانی تمثیلی بهره برده و در متن هم خواننده و سالکِ راه را به گذر از ظواهر و صورت‌ها و توجه به معنی فرامی‌خواند. وی راه گذر از صورت و رسیدن به عالم معنی را در بریدن از وابستگی‌ها، داشتن همت و انصاف و درمجموع در طلب و عشق و فنا می‌بیند.

Unwritten valleyConfrontation of Form and Meaning in the Mystical Poetry of the Mantiq AlTayr

Attar mentions seven valleys in the Mantiq AlTair, but there is one unwritten valley, that is passing from the form to the meaning. In Attar’s words, the form is seen in the permissible concept, the pluralities, the appearance, the world and the dependencies on it, and the meaning is also seen in the concept of unity, inwardness, soul, transcendence and attainment of truth. The story of these birds can be considered as passing through the form. Because Attar uses the form of an allegorical story and in the text, he calls the reader and the seeker of the way through appearances and forms and paying attention to the meaning. He sees the way through the face and reaching the world of meaning in cutting off attachments, having effort and justice, and in general in seeking, love and annihilation.
