Multi Criteria Decision Making with Hierarchical Alternatives

Multi criteria decision making (mcdm) has been widely applied to strategic decision situations. in some of these situations we involve with mcdm problems with special structures within their alternatives. this paper focuses on the structure of alternatives and proposes a new problem structuring approach based on hierarchical alternatives, an appropriate solution methodology based on fuzzy outranking, and finally gives a numerical example to illustrate the proposed approach.
