|
Belonging to scombridae family, longtail tuna (thunnus tonggol) is an economically important epipelagic species inhabiting tropical to subtropical regions of the indo-pacific, and is found almost exclusively in the neritic waters close to landmasses and rarely in offshore, turbid waters and estuaries (froese and pauly, 2015).
