مکان و بازنمود شخصیت زن در رمان‌های میرال الطحاوی(مطالعه موردی: بروکلین‌هایتس، ‏الباذنجانه الزرقاء و الخباء)‏

مکان، خاستگاهی اجتماعی و بستری برای سازۀ فرهنگ و کنش متقابل افراد قلمداد می‌شود و مطابق ‏با نگرش و ایدئولوژی حاکم بر جامعه، ویژگی‌های فرهنگی و کارکردهای متعددی در کالبد آن تجلی ‏می‌یابد. در سال‌های اخیر، تکاپوی زنان عرب برای احراز هویت مستقل در جامعه سنتی، موضوع ‏اصلی رمان‌های نویسندگان زن در این جوامع را به‌خود اختصاص داده است. مکان در این آثار، در ‏گسترۀ گفتمانی شخصیت‌های زن، کارکردی هویتی و احساسی پیدا می‌کند. میرال الطحاوی رمان‌نویس ‏فمینیست مصری یکی از نویسندگانی است که در آثارش توجه ویژه‌ای به مکان در راستای بازنمایی ‏هویت زن عرب و اوضاع نامناسب او در سایۀ گفتمان سلطه دارد. این پژوهش برآن است که به روش ‏توصیفیتحلیلی و با تکیه بر سه رمان بروکلین‌هایتس، الباذنجانه الزرقاء و الخباء به بررسی مقولۀ ‏مکان به‌عنوان بستری برای شکل‌گیری شخصیت زن، بپردازد. تلاش قهرمان زن برای عبور از حصارها ‏و تجربه مکان‌های مختلف، کراهتش از زندان تن و تن معیوب در سه رمان مذکور نشان می‌دهد که ‏نویسنده از مکان برای بازنمایی رنج و اندوه زن عرب استفاده کرده است. در این آثار، مکان‌های ‏محدود و بسته، بیش از هر چیز بر محدودسازی زن عرب اشاره دارند و این محدودیت آن‌چنان ‏نهادینه گشته که شخصیت زن حتی در مکان‌های باز نیز خود را در زندان دیگری به نام زندان تن ‏تصور می‌کند؛ از آن روی که اندام جسمی خود را نمی‌پسندد و ذات و تن دو مقوله رویاروی هم قرار ‏می‌گیرد.‏

Egyptian feminist novelist ‎Miral alTahawi is one of the authors whose works pay special ‎attention to the place in order to represent the identity of the Arab ‎woman and her unfavorable situation in the shadow of the ‎dominant discourse.This research aims to answer the question of ‎how AlTahawi has used the category of place in the service of ‎representing the culture and situation of women in society in a ‎descriptive and imaginative way, relying on Brooklyn Heights, Al‎Badzanjana AlZarqa and AlKhaba.The constant transition of the ‎female protagonist through the fences and the attempt to ‎experience different places, her hatred of the prison of the ‎defective body and body in the three mentioned novels shows how ‎she has established a twoway relationship between woman and ‎place
