نقد روانشناختی قهرمان در رمان «العطر الفرنسی» اثر امیر تاج السر بر اساس نظریه نیازهای هنری موری

نقد روانشناسی یکی از رویکردهای نقد ادبی معاصر است که با وجود ابهامات و کاستی هایی که دارد، در تحلیل روانی شخصیت ها و فهم بهتر آثار ادبی به پژوهشگران کمک شایانی می کند. یکی از نظریه های مطرح در این رویکرد نقدی، نظریه «نیازها» است که برای اولین بار توسط روانشناسی آمریکایی به نام «هنری موری» مطرح شد. از نظر او نیازها به سبب وجود فشار است که در انسان خودنمایی می کنند و انسان برای برطرف ساختن این فشارها به پاسخ دادن به نیازهای خود از راه های گوناگون اقدام می نماید. این مقاله بر آن است تا به روش توصیفیتحلیلی و آماری، ضمن بررسی علل بروز نیازها در قهرمان رمان «العطر الفرنسی»، مهمترین نیازهای او را مشخص نموده و اسباب غلبه یک نیاز بر نیازهای دیگر را واکاوی نماید. نتیجه آنکه مشکلات اجتماعی، اقتصادی و سیاسی که در زمره «آلفا پرس» به حساب می آیند، سبب به وجودآمدن فشارروانی(بتاپرس) و بالتبع احساس نیاز در شخصیت اصلی داستان می شود؛ او سعی دارد تا با برطرف کردن نیازهای ثانویه همچون فهم، سلطه جویی، نمایش، میل جنسی، طرد، خویشتن پایی، دنباله روی (احترام)، آسیب گریزی، مهرورزی و پرخاشگری بر این فشارهای درونی و بیرونی غلبه کرده و بر آنها فائق آید؛ اما در نهایت دچار فروپاشی شخصیت می شود و نمود بیشترِ نیاز«فهم» در این رمان حکایت از عدم پاسخگویی صحیح بدین نیاز بوده است.

A psychoanalytic criticism of the hero in Amir Taj AlSir’s novel ‘French Perfume’ on the basis of Henry Murray’s theory of needs

The novel ‘French Perfume’ by Amir Taj AlSir (born in 1960) is the reflection of a segment of the Sudanese society that lives in the stateignored Missing District while tackling socioeconomic and psychocultural problems. To get rid of lifetime imposed pressures and meet the needs of life, the hero of the novel, Ali Jorjar, takes certain steps. What he does can be interpreted through the theory of needs proposed by the American psychologist Henry Murray. According to this theory, needs are induced by the pressures of life, and human beings respond to those needs in various ways. By defining the theory of needs and using a descriptiveanalytic method, this research aims to detect the types of pressure that have posed needs to the hero and to mark those pressures that are responded to. As the results indicate, social, economic and political problems, which are in the Alpha Press category, lead to psychological pressures, categorized as Beta Press. These pressures, in turn, lead to certain needs, like the needs felt by the protagonist of the novel. He tries to overcome external and internal pressures by meeting such secondary needs as understanding, domination, pretention, libido, reprobation, selfrestraint, respect, invulnerability, affection and pugnacity. In spite of his attempts, he ends up in a character breakup.
