چکیده
|
یک دسته از ادله اثبات عقل مفارق ادله مبتنی بر رویکرد معرفت شناختی اند که در این جستار به تحلیل انتقادی سه دلیل از آن ادله خواهیم پرداخت. ما در این پژوهش نشان می دهیم که این ادله بیشتر شبیه به تبیین اند تا استدلال بر وجود عقل مفارق یعنی بیشتر شبیه به فرضیه های روشنگری هستند که علاوه بر برقراری سازگاری در یک نظامْ فهم چگونگی امکان یک امر را به ما می دهند. دراین صورت، اولا، رقیب بردارند یعنی می توان فرضیه ها و تبیین های رقیب ارائه داد؛ ثانیا، چون ظاهرا همه این مسائل چندتباری اند در علوم مختلف می توان تبیین هایی دیگر برای این امور عرضه کرد تبیین هایی که هر کدام بخشی از حقیقت را روشن می سازند؛ ثالثا، با توجه به ملاک‌های اولویت تبیین شاید امروزه دیگر این تبیین ها خیلی موفق نباشند. با این همه، اگر این ادله را استدلال و توجیه برای وجود عقل مفارق بدانیم، همچنان خلل های فراوانی دارند و از رسیدن به مقصود بازمی مانند.

Epistemological Approach in Proving Separated Intellect in Islamic Tradition: Critical Analysis

Abstract
|
A cluster of arguments for the existence ʿaqli Mufāriq (Separated intellect) are based on epistemological approach, which we, in this inquiry, will analyze three of them critically. In this study, we indicate that these arguments are more similar to “explanations” rather than reasoning for the existence of separated intellect, I mean that they are more similar to illustrative hypotheses which, in addition to establishing compatibility in a system, give us an understanding of how one thing is possible. In this case, firstly, they will accept competitors; i.e., we can offer other hypotheses and explanations. Secondly, because it seems that all these problems are multipleorigins, in different disciplines, other explanations could be presented, each of which illuminates a portion of reality. Thirdly, as for the criteria of precedence of explanation, maybe these explanations do not succeed today. Nevertheless, if we regard these arguments as a proof and justification for the existence of separated intellect, they will have many defects and will not reach the goal.
