تحلیلی بر امکان استقبالی از منظر ابن‌سینا

ابن‌سینا امکان استقبالی را به معنای نفی هر گونه ضرورتی در زمان آینده می‌داند. وی شرط عدم وجود شیء در زمان حال را در این نوع از امکان شرط نادرستی می‌داند. در این پژوهش پس از ارائۀ صورت‌بندی فرمال از معانی امکان (عام، خاص، اخص و استقبالی) و نشان دادن وجود ابهام در معنای امکان اخص در کتاب شفا، به این مسئله خواهیم پرداخت که آیا شرط عدم «ضرورت به شرط محمول» در تعریف امکان استقبالی، که پس از ابن‌سینا به این تعریف افزوده شده است، شرط درستی است. دو تحلیل از امکان استقبالی ارائه خواهد شد و نشان خواهیم داد که اولاً این شرط برای اولین بار توسط سبزواری مطرح نشده است، بلکه پیش از وی قطب‌الدین رازی آن را ارائه داده است. ثانیاً این شرط با سیستم موجهاتی ابن‌سینا سازگار نیست.

An Analysis of Future possibility from Avicenna’s Perspective

Avicenna defines “future possibility” as the negation of any necessity in the future. He considers the absence of the object as the wrong condition for this type of possibility. In this research, the concepts of general possibility, special possibility, contingency, and future possibility are formulated. The author then proceeds to demonstrate that the definition of the contingency, as presented in the Book of Healing (Kitāb alShifā), suffers from ambiguity. Finally, the author explores the question of whether the addition of some condition, which was added after Avicenna, to the definition of future possibility, namely, “the negation of necessity conditioned by predication”, is warranted or not. Two analyses of future possibility will then be presented and the author attempts to show that Qutb alDin Razi had proposed the aforementioned condition before Sabzivari. As will be shown, this condition is not compatible with Avicenna’s modal system.
