بُرون‌شدِ فیثاغوری از یگانه‌انگاریِ مطلقِ پارمنیدسی به یک جریانِ تاثیر و تاثّر میانِ دو نماینده‌ی برجسته و تاثیرگذارِ تفکر پیش‌سقراطی اشاره دارد. اگر تبیین موجودات به‌عنوانِ کثرات را یکی از اهدافِ فکریِ مستتر در اندیشه‌ی پیش‌سقراطیان بدانیم، نه‌تنها چنین تبیینی در اندیشه‌ی پارمنیدس نخواهیم یافت، بلکه بنابر «بنیانی» که پارمنیدس به وضع و بسط آن می‌پردازد، هر تبیین کثرات ناممکن می‌گردد. بنابر شواهد تاریخی، حداقل بخشی از اندیشه‌ها در جریانِ فکریِ فیثاغوریان را می‌توان واکنشی به رویکردِ پارمنیدس به مسئله‌ی تبیین کثرات تلقی کرد. به این ترتیب، فیثاغوریان را می‌توانیم نخستین نقادانِ اندیشه‌ی پارمنیدسی تلقی کنیم که ایشان نیز، با وضع و توسعه‌ی «بنیانی» خاص، می‌کوشند پاسخی مناسب به دشواری‌هایِ مطرح شده از سویِ پارمنیدس برایِ تبیین کثرات فراهم کنند. پژوهشِ پیشِ‌رو می‌کوشد، با ارائه‌ی تبیینی از این دو «بنیانِ» پارمنیدسی و فیثاغوری، به روشن‌سازیِ دقیق‌تر نسبتِ میان این دو اندیشه بپردازد.

Pythagorean departure from absolute monism of Parmenides: a possible explanation

Pythagorean departure from absolute monism of Parmenides refers to a s‌tream of influence and reception between the two prominent and influential representatives of preSocratic thought. If we consider the explanation of beings as pluralities, as one of the hidden intellectual goals in preSocratic thought, not only we will not find such an explanation in Parmenides’s thought, but depending on the “foundation” that which Parmenides puts it and develops, any explanation of pluralities become impossible. According to his‌torical evidences, at leas‌t part of the thoughts in Pythagorean’s thought s‌tream, can be seen as a reaction to Parmenides’s approach to the problem of explaining pluralities. In this way, we can consider the Pythagoreans to be the firs‌t critics of Parmenidean thought, who, too, by es‌tablishing a certain “foundation” in order to explain pluralities, sought to provide a suitable answer to the difficulties posed by Parmenides. The present s‌tudy seeks to shed more light on the relationship between the two ideas by providing an explanation of these two “foundations” of Parmenides and Pythagorean.
