همزمانی بروز علائم دندانی سیفلیس مادرزادی و هیپردنشیا در پسر بچه8 ساله: گزارش یک مورد

زمینه و هدف: سیفلیس یکی از قدیمی ترین بیماری های مقاربتی شناخته شده است. بروز سیفلیس در دهه گذشته در سراسر جهان افزایش یافته است، علیرغم اینکه درمان این عفونت به راحتی قابل انجام است. عامل ایجاد کننده این بیماری مقاربتی، باکتری treponema pallidum subspecies pallidum (tpa) است. ضایعات دهانی سیفلیس، شایع ترین علامت خارج تناسلی عفونت، یک چالش تشخیصی برای دندانپزشکان است که معمولاً اولین کسانی هستند که ضایعات دهانی را بررسی می کنند. بیوپسی گاهی اولین معاینه انجام شده است، اما یافته های بافت شناسی غیر اختصاصی در نظر گرفته می شود. مورد: در مطالعه حاضر ما یک مورد جدید به همراه تظاهرات دهانی سیفلیس در کنار وقوع دندان های اضافه را ارائه می‌کنیم.نتیجه گیری: نتایج ما نشان می دهد که نظارت دقیق و همکاری بین رشته ای مناسب در طول مراحل درمان گاها منجر به نتیجه دلخواه ازنظر زیبایی و عملکرد نخواهد شد، چرا که ناهنجاری مورد نظر اصلاح پذیر نیست.

concurrence of presence of dental signs of congenital syphilis and hyperdontia in a 8-year-old boy: a case report

background and objective: syphilis is one of the oldest sexually transmitted diseases known.  the incidence of syphilis has increased worldwide in the last decade, despite the fact that the treatment of this infection can be done easily. the causative agent of this sexually transmitted disease is the bacterium treponema pallidum subspecies pallidum (tpa). (1) syphilis oral lesions, the most common extragenital sign of infection, are a diagnostic challenge for dentists, who are usually the first to examine oral lesions. biopsy is sometimes the first examination, but histological findings are considered non-specific.case: in the present study, we present a new case with the oral manifestations of syphilis along with the occurrence of extra teeth.conclusion: our results show that careful monitoring and appropriate interdisciplinary cooperation during the treatment stages sometimes will not lead to the desired result in terms of aesthetics and function, because the desired abnormality is not correctable.
