بررسی شاخص های سلامت دهان در افراد مراجعه کننده به مراکز سرپایی ترک اعتیاد شهر یزد در سال 1398

سابقه و هدف: مواد مخدر آثار مستقیم و غیر مستقیم بر روی سلامت دهان دارد. مشکلات دهان می توانند بر روی کیفیت زندگی مصرف کنندگان اثر گذاشته و آن را تضعیف کند. از این رو مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی شاخص های سلامت دهان در افراد مراجعه کننده به مراکز سرپایی ترک اعتیاد انجام شد.مواد و روش ها: در این مطالعه توصیفیمقطعی 150 معتاد مراجعه کننده به سه مرکز ترک اعتیاد منتخب دولتی در سال1398 مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. جهت گردآوری داده ها از چک لیستی که شامل 3 بخش؛ بخش اول: اطلاعات دموگرافیک فرد (سن، جنس ،تاهل،تحصیلات ،وضعیت اقتصادی)، بخش دوم: اطلاعات مربوط به سابقه مصرف دخانیات ،انواع مواد مصرفی و شیوه مصرف و قسمت سوم اندازه گیری شاخص های dmft  و   plaque control record بود، استفاده شد. داده ها پس از جمع آوری توسط آزمون های ttest وanova و ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.مواد و روش ها: در این مطالعه توصیفیمقطعی 150 معتاد مراجعه کننده به سه مرکز ترک اعتیاد منتخب دولتی در سال1398 مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. جهت گردآوری داده ها از چک لیستی که شامل 3 بخش؛ بخش اول: اطلاعات دموگرافیک فرد (سن، جنس ،تاهل،تحصیلات ،وضعیت اقتصادی)، بخش دوم: اطلاعات مربوط به سابقه مصرف دخانیات ،انواع مواد مصرفی و شیوه مصرف و قسمت سوم اندازه گیری شاخص های dmft  و   plaque control record بود، استفاده شد. داده ها پس از جمع آوری توسط آزمون های ttest وanova و ضریب همبستگی اسپیرمن تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.

Evaluation of oral health indices in people referring to outpatient addiction treatment centers in Yazd

Background and Aim: Introduction: Drugs have a direct and indirect effect on oral health. Oral problems can affect and impair consumers’ quality of life. Therefore, the present study aimed to evaluate oral health indicators in outpatient addiction treatment centers.Material and methods: In this descriptive crosssectional study, 150 addicts referred to three public drug addiction treatment centers in 2019 were studied. The questionnaire consisted of three sections; part 1: demographic information (age, sex, marital status, education, economic status), part 2: information on tobacco use history, types of consumables and methods of consumption, and part 3 Measurement of DMFT indices And Plaque Control Record was used. Data were analyzed using Ttest, ANOVA and Spearman correlation coefficients.Results: In this study, 150 people were included. Of these, 125 were men (92.6%) and 10 were women (7.4%). The mean age±sd addicts was 33.07 ± 10.92 years with a range of 6813 years. The mean ±sd DMFT was 16.04 ± 9.36 with a range of 3222 and the mean±sd Plaque Control Record index was 18.92 ± 7.44 with a range of 39.55.12.Conclusions: Drug use increases DMFT and Plaque Control Record indices. It seems that the oral health needs of the drug addict population are widespread and need to be pursued.
