انگیزه تحصیلی و رابطه آن با برخی عوامل در دانشجویان سال اول تا سوم دندانپزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی آزاد اسلامی تهران

خلاصه:سابقه و هدف: عوامل پیچیده و گاه ناشناخته ای کیفیت و کمیت یادگیری دانشجویان و پیشرفت تحصیلی آنان را تحت تاثیر قرار میدهد. یکی از عواملی که به جهت شدت تاثیرات خود در پیشرفت تحصیلی مورد توجه بیشتر متخصصان بوده و گاه خود به عنوان یک عامل مستقل مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است، انگیزه تحصیلی است. این مطالعه با هدف بررسی انگیزه تحصیلی و عوامل مرتبط با آن در دانشجویان سال اول تا سوم دندانپزشکی آزاد اسلامی در سال 95 انجام شد.مواد و روشها: در این مطالعه توصیفی برای اندازه گیری انگیزه تحصیلی از مقیاس انگیزش تحصیلی (academic motivation scale) که یک مقیاس استاندارد و خوداجراست و سه بعد انگیزه بیرونی، درونی و بی انگیزگی را می سنجد، استفاده شد. پس از بیان طرح، پرسش نامه ها بین دانشجویان توزیع گردید و با توجه به رتبه کسب شده در محدوده(28-196)، انگیزه افراد در سه گروه بالا (130 و بیشتر)، متوسط (129-65) و انگیزه پایین (کمتر از 65) تقسیم و نقش عوامل مرتبط با آنالیز رگرسیون تعیین شد.یافته ها: جامعه مورد مطالعه 217 نفر بود که از این تعداد، 31/3 درصد مذکر و 68/7 درصد مونث بودند. سن دانشجویان 3/6 ±21/1 سال بود. 64/5% دارای انگیزه بالا بودند. بین جنسیت و سطح انگیزه تحصیلی ارتباط معنی داری مشاهده شد(p<0.001) و دانشجویانی که وضعیت اقتصادی خوبی داشتند، 2/7 برابر دانشجویانی که وضعیت اقتصادی متوسطی داشتند، از انگیزه تحصیلی بالاتری برخوردار بودند(0/96=p).نتیجه گیری: به نظر می رسد میزان انگیزه تحصیلی در دانشجویان دانشکده دندانپزشکی نسبتا بالا است که این میزان با جنسیت و شرایط اقتصادی فرد ارتباط مثبتی داشت.

First to third year student’s motivation in dental school, Islamic Azad University of Tehran and its relationship with the relevant factors

AbstractBackground AND AIM: Complex and sometimes unknown factors affect the quality and quantity of learning students and their academic achievement. One of the factors that due to the severity of their impact on academic achievement were considered by most experts is motivation which sometimes is studied as an independent agent. Therefore, because of importance of the issue, this paper try to assess first to third year students motivation in dental school, Islamic Azad University of Tehran and its relationship with the relevant factors in the year 1395.Materials Methods: This descriptive study was used to measure academic motivation from the academic motivation scale, which is a standardized, and selfassessment scale and measures three dimensions of exterior, internal, and impersonal motivation. After the presentation, the questionnaires were distributed among the students. According to the rank obtained in the range (19628), the students motivation divided in the three groups, (high motivation=130 and more), moderate (65130) and low motivation (< 65) and then relevant factors were determined by Regression analysis. Results: The study population was 217 of which 31.3% were males and 68.7% females. The age of the students was 21.1 plusmn; 3.6 years. 64.5% had high motivation. There was a significant relationship between gender and education motivation level (P <0.001) and students with good economics, 2.7 times higher than those with moderate economics also had higher educational motivation (p = 0.96).Conclusion: It seems that the degree of motivation in dentistry students is relatively high, which has a positive relationship with gender and economic conditions.Keywords: Academic motivation, Academic achievement, Academic motivation scale,
