تصویر باراک اوباما از ایران بر اساس نظریه تصویر در روابط بین الملل

هدف اصلی این پژوهش طرح روشی جدید برای شناخت تصویر در روابط بین الملل است. بر اساس نظریه تصویر گفته می شود تصاویر نقش مهمی در تصمیم گیری ها و سیاستگذاری ها دارند؛ چنانکه اعتقاد بر این است رهبران نه بر اساس «واقعیت»، بلکه بر اساس «تصویری که از واقعیت» دارند اقدام به تصمیم گیری می کنند. از این لحاظ کشف تصویر فاعل شناسا از ابژه مورد شناخت می تواند در تبیین و حتی پیش بینی تصمیمات اتخاذی توسط فاعل شناسا به کار آید. در این راستا این پژوهش با روشی ابتکاری سعی کرده تصویر باراک اوباما به عنوان رئیس جمهوری امریکا از ایران را مورد احصاء قرار دهد. لذا این سوال اصلی مطرح شده است که تصویر رئیس جمهور باراک اوباما از ایران چیست و شامل چه ویژگی هایی می شود؟ نتایج این پژوهش نشان می دهد تصویر باراک اوباما از ایران به تصویر کلیشه ای «دشمن نسبی» شباهت دارد. این نتیجه بر اساس بررسی سه بُعد موقعیت، میزان توانمندی و ارزش های سیاسی ایران از دیدگاه اوباما حاصل شد که به ترتیب شامل تهدیدآمیز، قدرت نسبی و ارزش های سیاسی متفاوت است.

Barack Obama’s image of Iran based on image theory in international relations

The main purpose of this study is to design a new method for image recognition in international relations. According to image theory, images are said to play an important role in decisionmaking and policymaking; It is believed that leaders make decisions not on the basis of &reality& but on the basis of their &image of reality&. In this regard, the discovery of the subjectidentifier image of the known object can be used to explain and even predict the decisions made by the subjectidentifier. In this regard, this study has tried in an innovative way to count the image of Barack Obama as President of the United States of Iran from Iran. So the main question is what is President Barack Obama’s image of Iran and what are its characteristics? The results of this study show that Barack Obama’s image of Iran is similar to the stereotypical image of &relative enemy&. This result was obtained by examining the three dimensions of Iran’s position, capability, and political values ​​from Obama’s point of view, which include threatening, relative power, and different political values, respectively.
