دانشجویان با چه معیارهایی اساتید خود را ارزشیابی می کنند؟

زمینه و هدف: متداول‌ترین روش ارزشیابی اساتید دانشگاه، ارزشیابی استاد توسط دانشجو است. هدف از پژوهش حاضر شناسایی مهم‌ترین معیارهایی است که دانشجویان بر اساس آن به ارزشیابی اساتید خود می‌پردازند.مواد و روش‌ها:این مطالعه توصیفی – تحلیلی به‌صورت مقطعی در سال تحصیلی 94-95 در بین دانشجویان تمامی رشته‌ها و مقاطع تحصیلی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی بابل انجام‌شده است. 315 دانشجو در این مطالعه مشارکت کردند. برای گردآوری داده‌ها از پرسشنامه استفاده گردید که شامل 24 پرسش در چهار حیطه ویژگی‌های فردی، مهارت‌های تدریس، قوانین آموزشی و مهارت‌های ارتباطی بوده است. برای تجزیه‌وتحلیل داده‌ها از نرم‌افزار spss ویرایش 20 استفاده گردید.یافته‌ها: تحلیل داده‌ها نشان داد که از بین 24 معیار بررسی‌شده، معیارهای تسلط استاد به موضوع درس، قدرت تفهیم مطالب درسی (هردو با میانگین 0/40 ± 4/83)، مهارت برقراری ارتباط با دانشجویان (با میانگین 0/62 ± 4/54) و رعایت تناسب مطالب با سطح علمی فراگیران با میانگین 0/61 ± 4/50 مهم‌ترین معیارهای مدنظر دانشجویان در ارزشیابی اساتید بوده است و از دیدگاه آن‌ها معیارهایی چون سن، جنس، آراستگی ظاهر و شوخ‌طبعی تاثیر زیادی در ارزیابی اساتید نداشته است. همچنین آزمون آماری مشخص نمود که نوع ارزیابی دانشجویان بر اساس جنسیت و مقطع تحصیلی تفاوت معناداری باهم دارد (0/05p< ).نتیجه‌گیری:از بین چهار حیطه موردبررسی به ترتیب معیارهای مرتبط با مهارت‌های ارتباطی و مهارت‌های تدریس، نقش بیشتری در ارزیابی اساتید دارند. بنابراین توانمند نمودن اساتید درزمینهٔ روش‌های تدریس و ارتباط موثر با دانشجویان از ضروریات است.

What Criteria Do Students Use to EvaluateTheir Teachers?

Background and Aims: The most common way of assessing faculty members is assessmenting professors by students. The purpose of this study is to identify the most important criteria which were used to assess professors by their students.Methods: This crosssectional descriptiveanalytic study was carried out among students of all fields and academic levels of Babol University of Medical Sciences in the academic year of 20152016. A number of 315 students took part in this study. A questionnaire was used to collect data which included 24 questions in four areas: individual characteristics, teaching skills, teaching rules, and communication skills. SPSS software V.20 were used to analyze data.Results: Data analysis showed that among 24 examined criteria, the teachers' knowledge on the subject matter, teachers' ability to convey the lessons (both with a mean of 4.83 plusmn; 4.40), the skill of communicating with students (with a mean of 4.54 plusmn; 0.62) and the proportion of content with the academic level of the learners with an average of 4.50 plusmn; 0.61 was the most important criteria for the students to evaluate the faculty. Also, criteria such as age, sex, appearances, and humorous did not have a great impact on the evaluation of faculties. Also, the statistical test revealed that there is a significant difference in the type of student evaluation based on gender and educational level (P <0.05).Conclusion: Of the four examined areas, accordingly, criteria related to communication skills and teaching skills have a greater role in the assessment of faculties. Therefore, empowering faculties in teaching methods and effective communication with students is essential.
