نگاهی تازه به بیت‌هایی از شاهنامۀ فردوسی

شاهنامه، حماسۀ بزرگ ادب فارسی، همواره توجّه بسیاری را به خود جلب کرده و دربارۀ آن فراوان نوشته‌اند. شرح بیت‌های دشوار یا بیت‌هایی نیز که بر سر فهم آن اختلاف بوده است، توجّه صاحب‌نظران را به خود معطوف داشته است. گاهی بیتی ساده بنظر می‌رسد و ظاهراً بر سر آن اختلاف دیدگاهی دیده نمی‌شود، امّا با دقّتِ نظر می‌توان دریافت که از این‌ گونه بیت‌ها نتیجه‌ای مطلوب‌تر و روشن‌تر می‌توان استنباط کرد که ازجمله آن دو بیت زیر است:همه خواسته گیو را داد شاه ابی تیغ تو تاج روشن مباد بدو گفت کای نام‌دار سپاه چنین باد و بی‌بت برهمن مبادمعنی این دو بیت که در داستان کی خسرو آمده است، تقریباً در همه شرح‌ها یک‌سان است. بیش‌تر شارحان صرفاً به محور افقی داستان توجّه و از دیگر جنبه‌ها غفلت کرده‌اند. به همین دلیل در شرح و فهم بیت کاستی‌هایی دیده می‌شود که در این پژوهش سعی شده است شرح‌های گوناگون بررسی و نقد شود، سپس با توجّه به محور عمودی داستان معنیِ تازه‌ از آن بدست داده شود. آن چه در این پژوهش مطرح‌ شده این است که در این بیت‌ها برخلاف نظر برخی شارحان و شاهنامه‌پژوهان، «گیو» است که به مانند دیگر پهلوانان به ستایش کی خسرو پرداخته است و بنا بر شواهد «نام دار سپاه» در بیت اوّل کی‌خسرو است.

A new glance at some couplets fromShahnameh Ferdowsi

The purpose of this research is to cast a new look upon a couplet in Shahnameh in the story of Kay Khosrow. A couplet being so controversial that various commentaries been produced and virtually all paid due attention to the horizontal axis of the story and neglected other aspects. This paper attempts to study and criticize such commentaries to clarify the misunderstandings of the meaning of the couplet by referring to other couplets as evidence. Then the story in the vertical axis is assessed to derive at a novel meaning of the couplet in discussion according to the Moscow edition of Shahnameh:The king granted all wishes of GivSaid to him O commander of the armyWithout your sword would not be bright crownLet be such sword and May no Brahman be without an idolUnlike the views of certain commentators and Shahnameh scholars, Giv the warrior has praised Kay Khosrow like other warriors, and based on some presented evidence the commander of the army in the first couplet is Kay Khosrow.
