تحلیل شخصیت‌پردازی در داستان رستم و اسفندیار بر اساس نظریۀ زندگیِ اصیلِ مارتین هایدگر

یکی از مهم‌ترین علل تاثیرگذاری داستان رستم و اسفندیار، شیوۀ تقابل دو شخصیت اصلی است. برخلاف اکثر نبردهای رُخ‌داده در شاهنامه، رستم و اسفندیار تا پیش از جدال با یک‌دیگر همواره در یک جبهه قرار داشتند. بنابراین به نظر می‌رسد دیگر نه با خیر و شرّ متعارف روبه‌روییم و نه با سوءتفاهمی از آن دست که در داستان رستم و سهراب اتفاق افتاد. به همین دلیل، ویژگی‌هایی که این دو شخصیت را رودرروی هم قرار داده، از اهمیتی ویژه‌ برخوردار می‌شود به‌طوری‌که تحلیل تفاوت‌های بنیادینِ دو شخصیتِ رستم و اسفندیار، یکی از راه‌های کشف علل تاثیرگذاری این داستان به شمار می‌رود. برای رسیدن به این هدف، پیش از هر چیز نیاز است که با پیدا کردن معیاری مناسب، راهی برای طبقه‌بندیِ ویژگی‌های رفتاریِ دو شخصیت اصلیِ این داستان به دست بیاوریم. در پژوهشِ پیشِ رو، کوشش شده تا بر اساس آرایی که مارتین هایدگر در مورد ریشه‌های شکل‌گیری «زندگی اصیل» و تفاوت‌های آن با «زندگی غیر اصیل» مطرح کرده، تفاوت‌های بنیادینِ دو شخصیتِ اصلی داستان رستم و اسفندیار بررسی شده و نقش این تفاوت‌ها در مسیر حرکت داستان و به سرانجام رساندنِ آن موردتوجه قرار گیرد. نتایج این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد که تحلیل شخصیت‌پردازی در داستانِ رستم و اسفندیار بر اساس نظریۀ هایدگر، نه‌تنها می‌تواند ما را به درکی روشن‌تر از ریشه‌های اختلاف میان این دو شخصیت برساند؛ بلکه برخی از رفتارهای به‌ظاهر متعارضِ اسفندیار را هم توجیه ‌کند.

Analysis of characterization in the tale of Rostam and EsfandyarBased on Heidegger’s Authentic life theory

AbstractOne of the most important reasons for the impact of the tale of Rostam and Esfandyar is the way these two main characters confront each other.  Despite most battles represented in Shahnameh, Rostam and Esfandyar before confrontation had always been on one side.  Therefore it seems that we are neither faced with good and evil in its literal sense nor with a sort of misunderstanding that happened in the tale of Rostam and Sohrab. Hence the characteristics that put these two characters opposite one another gain significant importance to such extent that the analysis of their fundamental differences is one way to discover the enormous impact of this tale.  To reach this purpose it is essential to find a suitable criterion in order to classify the characteristic features of each protagonist.  Attempt is made in this article to study the principal differences of the protagonists according to theories of “Authentic life” and “inauthentic life” put forward by Martin Heidegger paying attention to the role of the differences in the course of the tale that gradually brings about its tragic end.  The results obtained show that looking at the tale from Heidegger’s perspective not only can help us to better understand the root of their discords but also it can justify certain conflicting behaviors of Esfandyar.
