بررسی بن‌مایه‌ی اسب‌دزدی و پیوند آن با باران و باروری در ادب حماسی

   دنیای اسطوره و افسانه، دنیایی پررمزوراز و لب‌ریز از اسرار ناگشوده است که از سدۀ نوزدهم به بعد، با ظهور روی‌کردهای مختلف اسطوره شناسی، کوشش شد که پرده از فروبستگی های دنیای اسرارآمیز اسطوره ها بگشایند و ژرف ساخت نمادین آن ها را بنمایند. در این جستار، بنا بر روی‌کرد توصیفی تحلیلی، اسپ، یکی از بن مایه های اسرارآمیزی که در گسترۀ اساطیر نمودی نمایان دارد، در حماسه های منظوم و منثور بررسی شد و محقق گشت که اسب در اساطیر و متون حماسی منظوم و منثور، گاهی در کنار گاو و زن، نماد باران است. در اختیار داشتن آن برابر با در دست داشتن باران و از دست دادن آن برابر با نباریدن باران است. اسب هایی مانند رخش و شب رنگ بهزاد، گاه به‌وسیلۀ اهریمنان دزدیده می شوند و یکی از خویش کارهای مهم ایزدان یا پهلوانان، برگرداندن این اسب ها به سرزمین ایران است؛ چنان‌که دو اسب یادشده گاه به سرزمین توران برده می شوند که با توجه به قراین متعدد، می توان چنین استنباط کرد که اسب دزدی نیز مانند دزدیدن گاو و زن در اسطوره و باورها نماد باران دزدی و برگرداندن آن، نماد باران آوری است.

The Study of the theme of horse stealing and its connection with rain, and fertility in epic literature

Abstract The world of myth and legend is a world filled with mysteries, symbols, and enigmas that since the 19th century onwards with the advent of different mythological approaches, attempt was made to throw light on the obscurities found in the wonderland of myths and to reveal their symbolic deep structure.  Using descriptive analytic method, this research is concerned with the study of the subject of horse, a perplexing theme quite distinct in the realm of myths, in epics both in prose and verse.  It became clear that horse, alongside cow and woman is the symbol of rain.  Owning a horse equates having rain at hand, and losing it equates drought.  Horses such as Rakhsh, and ShabrangeBehzad are often stolen by demons and one task of Gods or warriors is to return the horses to the Persian Land, as these horses were taken to Turan land at times.  According to numerous evidence it can be understood that horse stealing, like stealing cow and woman in myths and beliefs, are the symbol of stealing rain, and their return is the symbol of rainfall.
