مفهوم خدمات ژئوسیستم: تعاریف، تکامل و طبقه‌بندی

در این مقاله به تبیین مفهوم نوظهور خدمات ژئوسیستم پرداخته شده است. خدمات ژئوسیستم، خدمات اکوسیستم را با تمرکز بر اجزای غیر‌‌زنده و خدمات محیطی تکمیل می‌‌کند. این مفهوم با الگوبرداری از خدمات اکوسیستم به بررسی دقیق و جامع اهمیت عملکردهای اکوسیستم و نقش آن‌‌ها در حفظ زندگی و رفاه انسان می‌‌پردازد. همچنین خدمات ژئوسیستم به عنوان راهی برای ارزشیابی کامل تنوع زمین و زیرسطح پیشنهاد شده است، زیرسطح نه تنها پایه‌ای است که تمام زیرساخت‌های انسانی بر آن تکیه می‌کنند و فرصت‌هایی را برای ایجاد محیط زندگی بهتر ارائه می‌دهد، بلکه یک منبع طبیعی چند منظوره است. جدا از فضای فیزیکی، زیرسطح می‌تواند به عنوان مثال آب، انرژی و مواد را تامین و ذخیره، زیستگاه‌هایی را برای اکوسیستم‌ها فراهم کند و به عنوان پشتیبان حیات سطحی و به عنوان مخزن میراث فرهنگی و زمین‌شناسی عمل نماید. مفهوم‌‌سازی خدمات ژئوسیستم به عنوان یک رویکرد ممکن برای بهبود ارزیابی اکوسیستم‌‌ها و خدمات آنها توجه فزاینده‌‌ای را به خود جلب کرده است. بدین‌منظور، هدف این مطالعه بررسی تعاریف و مفاهیم خدمات ژئوسیستم و نقش آن در برنامه‌‌ریزی زیرسطح و توجه به اکوسیستم‌‌های زیرزمینی است.

this review paper elucidates the emerging concept of geosystem services. geosystem services complement ecosystem services by focusing on abiotic components and environmental services. this concept, modeled after ecosystem services, provides a detailed and comprehensive examination of the importance of ecosystem functions and their role in sustaining human life and well-being. it is also proposed as a means to fully evaluate the diversity of the earth's surface and subsurface. the subsurface not only serves as the foundation for all human infrastructure and offers opportunities for creating better living environments, but also it is a multifunctional natural resource. beyond providing physical space, the subsurface can, for example, supply and store water, energy, and materials, provide habitats for ecosystems, support surface life, and act as a repository for cultural and geological heritage. conceptualizing geosystem services as a potential approach to improving the assessment of ecosystems and their services has garnered increasing attention. therefore, this study aims to explore the definitions and concepts of geosystem services and their role in subsurface planning and consideration of underground ecosystems.
