زیبایی‏ شناسی خوانش شعر حافظ در انگلستانِ قرن 19 و 20 (طبق نظریۀ دریافت)

در این مقاله علل گرایش قابل‌ملاحظۀ مخاطبان انگلیسی قرون 19 و 20 به شعر حافظ، طبق نظریۀ خواننده‏محور دریافت بررسی می‌شود. توجّه به شعر حافظ در این مقطع خاصّ زمانی ناگهان اوج گرفت. این رویکرد، علل اجتماعی، فرهنگی و ادبی خاصّی داشت که در نظریۀ دریافت با اصطلاح پارادایم تعریف شده‌اند. با تبیین پارادایم‏های ادبی جامعۀ انگلستان، افق انتظارات ادبی در مقطع مذکور مشخّص می‌شود و از این طریق، علل گرایش انگلیسی‌ها در این مقطع زمانی به شعر حافظ معلوم می‏گردد. افق انتظار مهم‌ترین بحث نظریۀ دریافت است که هانس روبرت یائوس مطرح کرد و منظور از آن، تمامی عوامل اجتماعی و ادبی برانگیزانندۀ مخاطب برای رجوع به یک اثر ادبی است. مخاطب انتظارات خود را از متن در قالب این افق‌ها مشخّص می‏کند. اگر انتظار خواننده از متن برآورده شود، خوانش متن ادامه می‌یابد وگرنه متن مرده تلقّی خواهد شد. نتیجة بررسی نشان می‌دهد دربارة شعر حافظ در زمان و مکان مذکور با پدیدۀ امتزاج افق‏ها و پایایی خوانش مواجه هستیم و دقیقاً در این دوره پارادایم‏های ادبی انگلستان چنان متحوّل شدند که غزلیات حافظ توانست افق انتظار ادبی انگلیسی‌ها را اقناع کند و حتّی از سطح انتظاراتشان فراتر رود و بر شکل‏گیری آثار آنان تاثیر بگذارد.

Aesthetics of Reading Paradigms in the Poetry of Hafiz Based on Reception Theory(in the 19th & 20th-century England)

In this article, the causes of 19th 20thcentury English audience’s considerable attention to Hafiz’s poems are studied based on the readeroriented Reception Theory. This attitude of growing attention had special social, cultural, and literary causes, which are defined in Reception Theory as paradigms. By identifying the literary paradigms of the English society and the literary horizons of expectation in this period, the reasons for the English interest in Hafiz’s poetry are explained. The Horizon of Expectation is the most important discussion in Reception Theory, introduced by Hans Robert Jauss, which includes all literary and social factors stimulating readers to refer to a literary work. The readers identify their expectations according to these horizons. If their expectations from the text are satisfied, they continue reading; otherwise, the text is considered as &dead&. In the case of Hafiz’s poems in 19th 20th century, we consider the combinations of horizons and readings. The results show that in these two centuries, the literary paradigms in the English society were so developed that Hafiz’s poems could satisfy the literal expectations of England and even go beyond them so as to influence their own writings.
