بررسی اثرات جهانی‌شدن بر مدیریت منابع پایدار با تاکید بر فرضیه‌ محیط‌زیستی کوزنتس: رویکرد پنل کوانتایل

مطالعه‌ حاضر با استفاده از روش رگرسیون کوانتایل، به بررسی تاثیر جهانی‌شدن بر مدیریت منابع پایدار در دهک‌های مختلف برای کشورهای منتخب و در دوره‌ زمانی 2000 تا 2020 پرداخته ‌است. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که تاثیر جهانی شدن بر مصرف داخلی منابع در سه دهک اول مثبت و معنی‌دار است. سپس از دهک چهارم تا نهم اثر این متغیر منفی شده است. همچنین، از دهک دوم به بعد اثر رشد اقتصادی بر مصرف مواد داخلی تایید‌کننده‌ فرضیه‌ محیط زیستیکوزنتس است. متغیر رشد شهرنشینی هم از دهک دوم تا هفتم اثر منفی و در دو دهک آخر اثر مثبت بر مصرف داخلی منابع دارد. علاوه براین نتایج بیانگر آن است که بهره‌وری کل عوامل در تمام دهک‌ها تاثیر مثبت و معنی‌داری بر مصرف داخلی منابع دارد، که این اثر در دهک‌های آخر کاهش یافته است و این نتیجه بیانگر اثر بازگشتی در مصرف داخلی منابع است. در نهایت نتایج نشان می‌دهد متغیر ارزش افزوده‌ صنعت در طول دهک‌ها موجب افزایش مصرف داخلی منابع و بدتر شدن مدیریت منابع پایدار می‌شود.

investigating the impact of globalization on sustainable resource management with an emphasis on environmental assumption: a quantile panel approach

this study examines the impact of globalization on sustainable resource management across different quantiles for selected countries during the period 2000–2020 using the quantile regression approach. the findings reveal that globalization has a positive and significant effect on domestic resource consumption in the first three quantiles. from the fourth to the ninth quantile, however, this effect turns negative. additionally, from the second quantile onward, the impact of economic growth on domestic material consumption aligns with the environmental kuznets curve hypothesis. the urbanization growth variable shows a negative effect on domestic resource consumption from the second to the seventh quantile but turns positive in the last two quantiles. moreover, the results indicate that total factor productivity positively and significantly affects domestic resource consumption across all quantiles, though this effect diminishes in the higher quantiles, suggesting a rebound effect in resource consumption. finally, the findings demonstrate that the value-added of the industrial sector consistently increases domestic resource consumption across all quantiles, thereby worsening sustainable resource management.
