بررسی خواص مقاومتی و نوری کاغذهای پوشش‌دهی شده با ترکیب کربوکسی متیل سلولز و مونت موریلونیت

نانومواد زیستی و معدنی پایدار نظیر مونت موریلونیت به دلیل خواصی همچون زیست سازگاری و زیست تخریب پذیری جهت تولید محصولات مختلف مورد توجه محققان قرار گرفته است. در این پژوهش اثر پوشش‌دهی کاغذهای پوشش داده شده با کربوکسی متیل سلولز و مونت موریلونیت و ترکیب آن‌ها بر روی خواص مقاومتی و خواص نوری بررسی شد. برای این کار مواد پوشش‌دهی با شرایط مشخص کربوکسی متیل سلولز و مونت موریلونیت (3، 5 و7%) بر روی کاغذها اعمال شدند. همچنین کاغذها به‌وسیله میکروسکوپ الکترونی روبشی مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند. نتایج حاصل از آزمایش‌ها نشان داد که ویژگی‌های مقاومتی (شاخص مقاومت به کشش، ترکیدن و پارگی) کاغذهای پوشش داده شده با افزودن درصد مونت موریلونیت افزایش یافته است. ترکیب کربوکسی متیل سلولز و مونت موریلونیت 7% بهترین ویژگی‌های مقاومتی را نسبت به کاغذ شاهد داشته است. ویژگی درجه روشنی با افزودن مونت موریلونیت افزایش، ولی ماتی تغییر چشمگیری نکرده ‌است. همچنین رنگ سنجی با افزودن مونت موریلونیت تا 5% بهبود یافته ولی در نمونه 7% کاهش رنگ سنجی مشاهده شد. علاوه بر این، بررسی تصاویر میکروسکوپی نشان داد که مونت موریلونیت به میزان قابل توجهی منافذ موجود در سطح کاغذ را نسبت به کاغذ شاهد پر میکنند.

investigating the resistance and optical properties of papers coated with carboxymethyl cellulose and montmorillonite combination

sustainable biological and inorganic nanomaterials such as montmorillonite have been the focus of researchers due to their properties such as biocompatibility and biodegradability for producing various products. this research investigated the effect of coating paper coated with carboxymethyl cellulose and montmorillonite and their combination on resistance properties and optical properties. for this purpose, coating materials with specific conditions of carboxymethyl cellulose and montmorillonite (3, 5, and 7%) were applied on the papers. also, the papers were studied by scanning electron microscope. the results of the tests showed that the resistance characteristics (tensile, burst, and tear resistance index) of the coated papers increased by adding the percentage of montmorillonite. the combination of carboxymethyl cellulose and 7% montmorillonite has the best resistance characteristics compared to paper. the brightness characteristic increased by adding montmorillonite, but the opacity did not change significantly. also, the colorimetry was improved by adding montmorillonite up to 5% but the 7% sample decreased. in addition, the examination of the microscopic images showed that the montmorillonite fills the pores on the surface of the paper significantly compared to the control paper.
