واکاوی و نقد نظریه رئالیسم دولت‌محور فرید زکریا؛ با تاکید بر بازخوانی آن در ایران

نظریه‌های رئالیستی در روابط بین‌الملل، همواره از یک موقعیت ویژه و کانونی برخوردار بوده و در این بین متفکران زیادی به تشریح مبانی فکری خود در چارچوب مفروضه‌های رئالیستی پرداخته‌اند. نظریه‌های رئالیستی روابط بین‌الملل را می‌توان از مناظر گوناگون، به دسته‌های مختلف تقسیم‌بندی نمود که از جمله آن‌ها می‌توان به مدرن/کلاسیک و تدافعی/تهاجمی اشاره نمود. هر یک از متفکران رئالیسم در روابط بین‌الملل به‌دنبال ارائه نظریه‌هایی بوده‌اند که از قدرت تبیینی و پیش‌بینی‌پذیری قابل قبولی برخوردار بوده و در عین حال دارای ملزومات اساسی و منسجم، به‌گونه‌ای که بتوان نام تئوری را بر آن نهاد نیز باشند. در همین راستا، فرید زکریا در کتاب خود به تشریح مبانی و ارائه نظریه‌ی خود تحت عنوان &رئالیسم دولت‌محور& پرداخته‌است که در نقد رئالیسم تدافعی به توضیح تئوریک سیاست‌خارجی آمریکا و چگونگی افزایش قدرت و منافع این کشور در بازه زمانی 1908-1865(میلادی) می‌پردازد. بر همین اساس در این مقاله به‌دنبال تشریح و واکاوی مبانی این تئوری و همچنین بیان ایرادات آن با تکیه بر مفاهیم موجود در آن می‌باشیم. پرسش‌های اساسی این پژوهش بدین شرح هستند: اولاٌ این نظریه چه آورده‌هایی برای مکتب رئالیستی روابط بین‌الملل داشته؟ و دوماٌ از چه نواقصی برخوردار است؟ فرضیه پژوهش نیز این است که این نظریه با برجسته‌سازی نقش دولت و عوامل مربوط به آن، مفیدیت نظریه‌های رئالیستی را با عینی‌سازی سیاست‌خارجی ارتقا بخشیده اما همچنان می‌توان قابلیت‌های تبیینی آن را با بسط مفاهیم و جذب عوامل دیگر در نظریه، بهبود بخشید. شیوه انجام پژوهش نیز توصیفی_تحلیلی با تاکید بر مفاهیم نظری موجود در کتاب می‌باشد.

analysis and criticism of fareed zakaria’s state-centered realism theory, emphasizing its study in iran

realist theories in international relations have always had a special and focal position, and many thinkers and researchers have elaborated their intellectual foundations within the framework of realist assumptions. the realist theories of international relations can be divided into different categories from different perspectives, including the modern/classical and defensive/offensive categories. each of the thinkers of realism in international relations have sought to present theories that have acceptable explanatory power and predictability, and at the same time have basic and coherent requirements, so that the name of theory can be given to it. in this regard, in a book entitled &from wealth to power: the unusual origins of america’s world role&, farid zakaria has explained the basics and presented his theory under the title of &state-centered realism&, which, in criticizing defensive realism, has explained the theoretical explanation of america’s foreign policy and how to increase its power. and the interests of this country in the period of 1865-1908. accordingly, in this article, we seek to explain and analyze the basics of this theory, as well as state its flaws based on the concepts contained in it. the basic questions of this research are as follows: first, what has this theory brought to the realist school of international relations? and secondly, what defects does it have? the research method is descriptive-analytical with emphasis on the theoretical concepts found in the mentioned book.
