عوارض پوستی در اندام اهداکننده‌ی رگ و ارتباط آن با دیابت در افرادی که عمل بای‌پس عروق کرونری انجام داده‌اند

زمینه و هدف: با توجه به مشاهدات بالینی و مطالعات محدود در زمینه ی عوارض پوستی و تغییرات رشد مو روی اندام اهداکننده ی رگ، این مطالعه با هدف بررسی تغییرات رشد مو و عوارض پوستی روی اندام مربوطه در افرادی که عمل بای پس عروق کرونری انجام داده اند و مقایسه ی میزان تفاوت بروز این عوارض در افراد دیابتی و غیردیابتی انجام شده است.روش اجرا: هر دو اندام بیمارانی که 63 ماه گذشته جراحی بای پس عروق کرونری داشتند و جهت پیگیری معمول به درمانگاه جراحی قلب مراجعه کرده بودند، بررسی و مقایسه شدند. تغییرات پوستی توسط متخصص پوست مورد بررسی قرار گرفته و پس از ثبت تغییرات به وجودآمده، بروز این عوارض و تفاوت بروز در افراد دیابتی و غیردیابتی بررسی گردید.یافته ها: از 97 بیمار که وارد مطالعه شدند تعداد 77 نفر مرد و 20 نفر زن بودند که از این موارد 29 بیمار دیابت داشتند. طی بررسی ها 10 بیمار هایپرتریکوزیس، 3 بیمار ریزش مو در اندام مربوطه، 16 بیمار تغییرات هایپرپیگمانتاسیون، 21 بیمار خارش، 26 بیمار کلویید، 3 بیمار علائم درماتیت، 9 بیمار عفونت زخم داشتند. در این مطالعه هیچ کدام از عوارض در افراد دیابتی نسبت به افراد غیردیابتی تفاوت معناداری نداشت (0.05

Skin complications of blood vessel donor limbs and their association with diabetes in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting

Background and Aim: According to the limited clinical observations and researches on cutaneous complications and hair growth changes of donor's site extremities, this study aimed to compare hair growth changes and cutaneous complications of donor's site extremity in patients who underwent coronary artery bypass graft between diabetic and nondiabetic patients.Methods: Patients who attended the heart surgical clinic for routine followup 36 months after CABG (coronary artery bypass grafting) were evaluated. Their donor'ssites in both extremities were compared with each other. Cutaneous changes were assessed and recorded by a dermatologist. After recording data, the incidence of these complications and the differences between diabetic and nondiabetic patients were evaluated.Results: From the 97 participants of this study, 77were male and 20 were female. Of these patients 29 were diabetic. Tenhad hypertrichosis, 3 had hair loss in donor's site extremity, 16 hadhyperpigmentation changes, 21 had itches, 26 had colloid scar changes, 3 had dermatitis, and 9 had wound site infection. In this study there was no statistically significant difference regardingthe incidence of complicationsin diabetic patients compared to nondiabetic patients (P>0.05).Conclusion: The cutaneous complications in this study were similar to previous studies and the only significant finding was the incidence of hypertrichosis in donor's site extremity. In order to determine the prevalence and persistence of the complications more accurately, further studies on larger populations including followup of complications are warranted.
