چکیده
|
موسسات پلیس رویکرهای متنوعی را در تعیین تعداد مورد نیاز نیروهایشان اتخاذ میکنند، مانند تعداد نیرو برحسب جمعیت، تخصیص نیرو براساس تعیین حداقل نیروی لازم، تخصیص نیرو براساس بودجه اختصاص یافته، و روشهای تعیین تعداد نیروی مورد نیاز که بر حسب حجم کار هستند. در این مقاله، پس از مرور ادبیات تحقیق در این زمینه، به بررسی مصاحبههای انجام گرفته با پلیسهای کارکشته از 20 موسسه پلیس گوناگون در ایالات متحده و همچنین گروه کانونی مشتمل بر 21 کارشناسِ تخصیص نیرو پرداخته و شیوههای مرسوم کنونی تعیین تعداد نیرو و تجارب حاصل آمده در این زمینه را ارزیابی میکنیم. همچنین، نقاط ضعف و قوت روشهای مختلف تعیین تعداد نیروی مورد نیاز و مدیریت حجم کار به نحوی که حداقل استفاده از ماموران سوگند خورده میشود مورد بررسی قرار میگیرند.جمله تکراری نقاط ضعف و قوت روشهای مختلف تعیین تعداد نیروی مورد نیاز و مدیریت حجم کار به نحوی که حداقل استفاده از ماموران سوگند خورده میشود مورد بررسی قرار میگیرند.

Abstract Police agencies take a variety of approaches to determining their staffing allocation needs. Among these arethe percapita, minimum staffing, authorized level, and workloadbased methods. Based on a review of the literature,interviews with practitioners representing 20 diverse agencies across the USA and national focus group of 21 staffingexperts, this article assesses current trends and experiences in staffing allocation.
