اتهام وابستگی تهذیب الاخلاق؛ بررسی مقایسه‌ای مفهوم شجاعت در اخلاق ارسطو و مسکویه

شجاعت از دیرباز یکی از فضیلت‌های مهم اخلاقی در آیین‌های گوناگون به شمار رفته و در مفاهیم اسلامی نیز مورد توجه بسیاری قرار گرفته است. ارسطو و مسکویه رازی به‌عنوان دو اندیشمند اخلاقی یونانی و مسلمان، در مفهوم‌سازی و مرزبندی این فضیلت تلاش کرده‌اند و مورد توجه مفسران قرار گرفته اند. تشابه زیاد محتوای این دو فضیلت گرای برجسته در بحث شجاعت، این پرسش را پی می‌آورد که تفاوت آورده‌های آنها در چیست و مسکویه به چه میزان متاثر از متن ارسطو بوده است؟ پژوهش پیشرو کوشیده با روش تحلیل محتوای اخلاق نیکوماخوس ارسطو و تهذیب الاخلاق مسکویه، ریزمولفه های شجاعت از دیدگاه هر یک را استخراج کرده سپس مقایسه کند. در این راستا 32 مولفه را در شش بُعد یافته که 13 مورد مشترک و 11 مورد مختص ارسطوست و از ابداع کم نظیر او در اخلاق فضیلت حکایت می کند. در مقابل، 8 مولفه از امتیازات مسکویه است که نشان می‌دهد وی در کتاب اصلی خود، علاوه بر انتقال اخلاق یونان به ادبیات اسلامی- عربی، نقش گزینش، تبیین، تکمیل و نوآوری را نیز ایفا نموده، ازاین‌رو جایگاه پیشتازی در میان اخلاقیان متاخر یافته و اتهام وابستگی و برگردان‌گری صِرف او روا نیست.

miskawayhcourage has long been considered one of the most important moral virtues in various religions and has been given much attention in islamic concepts. as two greek and muslim moral thinkers، aristotle and miskawayh razi have tried to conceptualize and demarcate this virtue. the great similarity of the content of these two prominent virtue theorists in the discussion of courage raises the question of what is the difference between their contributions and to what extent was miskawayh influenced by aristotle's text? the leading research tried to extract the micro-components of courage from the point of view of each of them with the method of analyzing the content of aristotle's nicomachean ethics and tahzib al-akhlaq of miskawayh. in this regard، he found 32 components in six dimensions، of which 13 are common and 11 are specific to aristotle. on the other hand، 8 components are one of the merits of miskawayh، which shows that in his original book، in addition to transferring greek ethics to islamic-arabic literature، he also played the role of selecting، explaining، completing and innovating، therefore، he found a leading position among late moralists. and the accusation of his affiliation and translation is not justified.
