در جستجوی کبریت احمر (دیدگاه عطّار در مورد نیاز مرید به پیر و مراد در مصیبت نامه)

سلوک دارای دو بعد عرفان و تصوّف است، در آن جا که سخن از بعد نظری سلوک در میان باشد، عرفان مدّنظر خواهد بود، و در جایی که سخن از بعد عملی سلوک و طیف‌های گوناگون صوفیّه مدّنظر باشد، وارد حیطۀ تصوّف شده‌ایم. سالک پس از این که شعله‌ای از آتش عشق معشوق ازلی بر جان او زده می‌شود و او را وارد مرحلۀ طلب می‌کند، باید بر اثر کوشش بی انتهای خویش به دنبال پیدا کردن کبریت احمر باشد، تا موفّق شود، تحت نظارت آن پیر دل فروز که نظری چون کیمیا دارد و کشش معشوق، مراحل صعب‌العبور و طاقت فرسای سیر و سلوک را در دو بعد آفاقی و انفسی آن به استناد آیۀ شریفۀ «سَنُریهم آیاتِنا فی الآفاق و فی انفسهِم حتّی یَتبیّن اَنّه الحقّ» (فصّلت/53) به پایان ببرد، تا بدین وسیله در سایۀ کیمیا نظر پیر، مس وجود خویش را به زر تبدیل کند. در ضمن عطار در امر سلوک علاوه بر نقش تعیین کننده پیر، سهم بزرگی برای کشش معشوق(حق) در نظر گرفته و برای ملموس نمودن عشق حقیقی از رابطه عشق مجازی محمود و ایاز بهره بسیار برده است. در این مقاله که به روش تحلیلی توصیفی تهیّه شده است، ضمن برشمردن نکات اشتراک دیدگاه عطار با دیگران در مورد نیاز مرید به پیر، به نکات افتراق دیدگاه او با دیگران نیز اشاره شده است.

(faslat/53), so that in this way, in the shadow of alchemy of the old man, he will turn the copper of his existence into gold. at the same time, in addition to the decisive role of the elder, attar has taken a big part in the attraction of the beloved (haq) and has made great use of the virtual love relationship between mahmoud and ayaz to make real love tangible. in this article, while enumerating the common points of attar's point of view with others regarding the need of a disciple for an elder, the points of difference between his point of view and others are also mentioned.
