ماجرای کیمیاخاتون یکی از اتفاقات مهم زندگی شمس تبریزی و مولانا بوده است. ازدواج آن دو، زندگی کمابیش آشفته و نهایتاً مرگ کیمیا که روایت آن خالی از ابهامی نیست، در قرن اخیر در محل توجه شماری از پژوهشگران قرار گرفته است. بهترین و کامل ترین متنی که باید برای پژوهش در این موضوع بدان رجوع کرد، «مقالات شمس تبریزی» است. این کتاب به واسطۀ ساختار آشفته و ابهام آلود خود به سادگی نمی تواند مورد استفاده قرار گیرد و بهره بردن از آن نیازمند باریک بینی و تاویل و تفسیرهای چندباره است. به این ترتیب کوشیدیم، با متن کاوی ادبی، از طریق پیوند دادن برخی بخش های گسسته و مبهم به یکدیگر، به بازنمایی روایتی دقیق تر از ماجرای کیمیا و شمس بپردازیم. مجموعه ای کوچک و مهم از ویژگی های اخلاقی این دو، روابط مهر و قهرآمیز آنان، پرداخت مهریه، به قاضی رفتن، برخی حرکات مشکوک پیرامونیان و ... از خطوطی است که در این مقاله بررسی شده اند.

the concrete events of artists' lives have always been one of the sources of inspiration and influence for their creations. by examining these events, sometimes serious results can be reached in the analysis and interpretation of literary works. the story of kimiakhaton was one of the important events in the lives of shams tabrizi and rumi. the marriage of the two, the more or less chaotic life and finally the death of kimia, whose narrative is not without ambiguity, has been the focus of a number of researchers in the last century. it seems that this story was still a part of the mental preoccupation of the people around rumi and perhaps even himself until years later. for them, it was a question as to what extent was the role of shams in the death of kimia. it seems that rumi's motivation for inventing the character of pir elahi in the story of the king and the concubine, his reference to the murder of the goldsmith and the justifications that rumi gives for his action, are in line with the justification of shams' possible action in the event of kimia's death. from this story, in this descriptive analytical article, after quoting and analyzing sixteen paragraphs from the book shams essays, looking at the views of some contemporary researchers in this regard, we have tried to prove the aspects of the mentioned story with analytical text analysis.
