نقش دولت در اقتصاد؛ بازخوانی آرا و اندیشه ‏های احمد متین دفتری

با شروع مناسبات ایران و غرب در دورۀ قاجاریه، بحران، همۀ عرصه‌های حیات جامعۀ ایران را در برگرفت. یکی از این عرصه‏ها، بحران اقتصادی بود. برخی از منورالفکران به اقتضای درک و بینش خود سعی کردند راه ‏حلی برای این بحران ارائه دهند. بااین‌حال کمتر منورالفکری به تامل دقیق در ریشه‏ های آن پرداخت. احمد متین دفتری یکی از کسانی بود که به تامل جدی دربارۀ این موضوع پرداخت و راهکارهایی نیز ارائه داد. مسئلۀ اصلی مقاله، بازخوانی آرای احمد متین دفتری در بحران اقتصاد ایران و نقش دولت در حل این موضوع است. پرسش مقاله نیز این است که متین دفتری چه نقشی برای دولت در حل بحران اقتصادی قائل بود. فرضیۀ این مقاله این است که برخلاف بیشتر منورالفکران، متین دفتری به‌دنبال محدودکردن نقش دولت و پایه‌ریزی یک اقتصاد ملی در ایران بود. یافته‏ هایِ این نوشتار نشان می ‏دهد متین دفتری عقیده داشت دولت باید از دخالت مستقیم در امور اقتصادی خودداری کرده و کار را به نهادها و افراد خصوصی بسپارد. همچنین او معتقد بود فساد سازمان‌های اجتماعی و نهادهای سیاسی ایران نیز ناشی از سیطرۀ اقتصاد بر دولت است.

the role of the government in the economy; rereading the opinions and thoughts of ahmad matin-daftari

with the beginning of relations between iran and the west, the crisis covered all spheres of life in iranian society. among these, the economic crisis emerged as a significant concern. several enlightened thinkers made endeavors to provide a solution for this crisis based on their understanding and vision. however, more intellectuals should have paid more attention to its roots. ahmad matin-daftari was one of those who seriously reflected on this issue and offered solutions.the main issue of the article is the rereading of ahmad matin-daftari’s opinions on iran’s economic crisis and the government’s role in solving this issue. the article’s question is, what role did matin-daftari consider for the government in solving the economic crisis? this article hypothesizes that, unlike most intellectuals, matin-daftari sought to limit the role of the government and establish a national economy in iran.the findings of this article show that matin-daftari believed that the government should refrain from direct interference in economic affairs and leave the work to private institutions and individuals. he also believed that the corruption of iran’s social organizations and political institutions is caused by the economy’s domination over the government.
