تاریخ صدر اسلام و عرب‌گرایی در جریان ملی‌گرای مصر از 1918 تا 1970م.

ناسیونالیسم به ‌عنوان پدیده‌ای مدرن وارد جهان اسلام شد. گرایش به ملی‌گرایی که خود یکی از عوامل تضعیف امپراتوری عثمانی بود، پس از پاره پاره شدن گسترۀ امپراتوری، به‌ویژه در شکل ملی‌گرایی عربی تشدید شد. عرب‌ها برای پررنگ کردن این موضوع به عنصر تاریخ و زبان عربی توجه کردند. آنان با مدّ نظر قرار دادن تاریخ صدر اسلام که می‌توان آن را مهم‌ترین مقطع تاریخ اسلام در نظر گرفت، زمینه را برای گرایش حداکثری عرب‌ها به پان‌عربیسم یا ناسیونالیسم عربی فراهم ساختند. ناسیونالیسم اسلام‌گرا نیز وجه دیگری از ناسیونالیسم عربی بود که البته آن نیز در تقابل با استعمار ایجاد شده بود. مفهومی مدرن از غرب وارد جهان اسلام شده بود که بایست با بافت جدید سازگاری می‌یافت. از این رو، اندیشمندان مصری تلاش کردند با بررسی میراث اسلام و تاریخ صدر اسلام، بستری را برای اندیشه‌ورزی دربارۀ ناسیونالیسم فراهم سازند. نگارندۀ این پژوهش در پی آن است که با بررسی تاریخی، نوع مواجهه جریان ملی‌گرای مصر را با تاریخ صدر اسلام نشان دهد.

The Early History of Islam and Arabism in Egyptian Nationalist Trend (1918-1970)

In the 20th Century, Nationalism entered the Muslim world as a modern phenomenon. The tendency towards nationalism, which was one of the factors weakening the Ottoman Empire, intensified after the fragmentation of the empire, especially in the form of Arab nationalism. The Arabs also turned to the element of history and Arabic language to highlight this issue. Given the early history of Islam, which can be considered the most critical point in Islam’s history, they provided the basis for a greater Arab tendency towards panArabism or Arab nationalism. Islamic nationalism was another aspect of Arab nationalism that was created in opposition to colonialism. The modern concept which had entered the Islamic world from the West had to adapt to the new context. Hence, the Egyptian thinkers tried to provide a basis for thinking about nationalism by examining Islam’s heritage and the early history of Islam. This study seeks to show significant Egyptian thinkers’ attitudes toward the early history of Islam by historical study.
