نیروی دریایی ایران با تاکید بر نقش کشتی پرسپولیس در امنیت خلیج‌فارس در دورۀ قاجار

خلیج‌فارس و کرانه های شمالی و جنوبی آن همواره در سطح ملی، منطقه ای و جهانی از اهمیت سیاسی، اقتصادی و اجتماعی برخوردار بوده است. در ابتدای دورۀ قاجار، این آبراه اهمیت تجاری و بازرگانی داشت؛ سپس دارای اهمیت سیاسی و نظامی نیز شد. فقدان یک نیروی دریایی کارآمد برای ایرانیان، همواره مهم ترین دلیل عدم کنترل مطلوب خلیج‌فارس از سوی حکومت های ایرانی به‌خصوص در دوران جدید و معاصر بوده است. برخی از پادشاهان حکومت های ایرانی از صفویه تا قاجاریه، در پی ایجاد نیروی دریایی قدرتمند برای برقراری امنیت و رونق تجارت و بازرگانی خلیج‌فارس بودند. در این مقاله، تشکیل نیروی دریایی مدرن و منظم در خلیج‌فارس توسط ناصرالدین ‌شاه قاجار و نقش کشتی پرسپولیس در ایجاد امنیت داخلی و خارجی در این آبراهه با روش توصیفی تحلیلی و استفاده از منابع تاریخی و کتابخانه ای مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. براساس نتایج این مقاله، هدف اصلی ناصرالدین‌شاه از ایجاد نیروی دریایی، مقابله با دخالت قدرت های استعماری، به‌خصوص انگلستان در منطقۀ خلیج‌فارس بود. البته در این راه موفق نبود و فقط توانست با کشتی پرسپولیس حکمرانان یاغی و گریز از مرکز را در کرانه های شمالی خلیج‌فارس تنبیه و سرکوب کند.

Iran Navy Force With a Focus on the Role of Persepolis Ship on the Security of Persian Gulf in Qajar Period

The Persian Gulf and its northern and southern coasts have always been of national, regional and global political and social importance. At the beginning of the Qajar period, this waterway had a trade and commercial importance; Then it became politically and militarily important. The lack of an efficient navy for the Iranians has always been the most important reason for the lack of proper control of the Persian Gulf by the Iranian governments, especially in modern times. Some of the kings of the Iranian governments, from Safavid to Qajar, sought to create a powerful navy to establish security and boost trade and commerce in the Persian Gulf.  In this article, the formation of a modern and regular navy in the Persian Gulf by Nasser alDin Shah Qajar and the role of the Persepolis ship in creating internal and external security in this waterway have been studied by descriptiveanalytical method and using historical and library resources. According to the results of this article, Nasser alDin Shah’s main goal in creating a navy was to counter the intervention of colonial powers, especially Britain, in the Persian Gulf region. Of course, he was not successful in this way and only managed to punish and suppress the rebellious rulers with the Persepolis ship on the northern shores of the Persian Gulf.
