the numerous dam constructions of the turkish government have adverse environmental effects on the flora and fauna of the geographical area downstream of the dams, it has been examined and confirmed by researchers of social sciences, geography, environment and law, even sometimes through interdisciplinary articles. but as a result of the conducted research, this serious question is raised: did the damage cause the loss of the fundamental rights of the people living in these areas, i.e., the countries of syria, iraq, and iran or not?in this article, an attempt has been made to follow the social events related to the living conditions on the banks of the rivers in question by examining the records of the studies, as well as referring to legal documents and international treaties, especially judicial arbitration and even political procedures, and using library and electronic resources in a way descriptive analytically, let’s examine the legal aspects of these dam constructions from the perspective of international environmental and human rights laws, whether the turkish government’s territorial sovereignty in the construction of dams has affected human rights or not, and if the answer is yes, how and to what extent these rights it has been wasted.based on the international customary rules, judicial opinions... and also the political procedures applied in similar cases, the creation of the destructive phenomenon of dust in large areas of the middle east, the drying up of the water source of agricultural lands, unknown and new diseases, and the migration of ethnic populations from the banks of the tigris and euphrates rivers are evidence of the continuous violation of human rights in the regions of these three countries, and it is necessary for these governments to take serious and urgent action to hold the turkish government accountable in accordance with international law.
