بررسی ریشه‌شناختی واژه‌هایی از گویش فیروزآبادی

گویش فیروزآبادی یکی از گویش‌های جنوب غربی ایران است که در شهرستان فیروزآباد در جنوب غربی استان فارس و روستاهای پیرامون آن رواج دارد. این گویش همانندی بسیاری با دیگر گویش‌های رایج در استان فارس و نیز با گویش‌های لری مناطق جنوبی دارد. از نظر تاریخی، فیروزآبادی تحول‌یافته از فارسی میانه است که خود بازماندۀ فارسی باستان است. این مقاله به بررسی ریشه‌شناختی شماری از واژه‌های این گویش می‌پردازد. در مورد هر واژه، پس از بررسی صورت واژه در فارسی میانه و ایرانی باستان، هم‌ریشه‌های آن در دیگر زبان‌های ایرانی دورۀ باستان و میانه آورده شده است. سپس به برابر واژه در دیگر گویش‌های ایرانی به‌ویژه گویش‌های جنوب غربی اشاره شده است.

An Etymological and Comparative Study of Firuzabadi Dialect WordsReceived: 2012/05/21Accepted: 2012/10/06   Rohangiz Karachi [1]EsfandiarTaheri[2] AbstractFiruzabadi is one of the so called Southwestern Iranian dialects which is spoken by the residents of Firuzabad, a town located southwest of Fars province. This dialect is closely related with other fars dialects and with southern Lori dialects. Historically, Firuzabadi is derived from Middle Persian which itself  is derived from Old Persian. The aim of this paper is to study the etymology of some Firuzabadi words. Finally, other equal words in Persian dialects, especially, southwestern ones are located.
