   The Islamic common market: Obstacles and solutions

چکیده    This paper aims at studying the factors that attributed to the non-development of an islamic common market among muslim countries. based on the classical theory or the theory of economic integration (free trade area- customs union - common marketeconomic union) in addition to the expected benefits,and the incurred costs and barriers of the concept of the common market,the paper realizes the importance of trade exchanges among member's countries by addressing those benefits through the analysis cross-trade among muslim countries,the influential factors and the recommendations that are drawn up without underestimating the positive role of industrial and agriculture sectors in such process. it is well known that the cross-trade among muslim countries is very modest in comparison to its global external trade. as a result it is very important to examine the need for the establishment of such a common market and its expected outcomes with as a strategic goal within the framework of the classical theory. the paper sees that the ultimate goal of this collective work is to examine the fact that if the economic integration among muslim countries is recommendable,what are the best factors that can be relied upon to achieve it. in order to arrive at specific results for that goal the paper browses the general measures through which the recommendation of establishing the economic integration is tested.
