چکیده    Despite the large number of scientific reports describingthe effect of electromagnetic fields on cellular level and on the wholeanimal, still there is little understanding of the exact nature of interactionbetween electromagnetic field and bio-systems. electromagneticfield of 60 hz, and field strength of 10 kv/m was appliedfor 2 weeks on whole swiss albino mice to investigate whether exposureto electromagnetic field in the range of 10 kv/m induced suspensionof proteins in different lobes of mice brain. the field strengthapplied showed an increase in the total protein concentrations of eachlobe of mice brain sacrified directly after exposure. the observedchange was reversible when the pre-exposed animals were left outsidethe field for 4 weeks. it is assumed that the increase in protein concentrationswas due to synthesis of stress proteins, which may haveplayed a protective role against electromagnetic exposure
