چکیده    The reaction kinetics on the formation reaction of li2tio3 during the heat treatment of li2co3 and tio2in (1:1) molar ratio have been followed isothermally and non-isothermally using different reaction modelsin solid state. it is revealed that kinetic of li2tio3 formation could be successfully described by avrami-erofe’ev nucleation model.the activation energy of the solid state formation of li2tio3 was calculated using both model– fitting andmodel free approaches and the results are compared and evaluated. the solid products during the heattreatment of li2co3 and tio2 at different calcination temperatures were followed using ftir, xrd andsem measurements. the results indicated that stoichiometric li2tio3 was completely formed bycalcination at 900oc for 9 hours.
