چکیده    Henry's law constants kh of chlorine and hydrogen chloride were determined in 1,2-dichloroethane(dce), 1,1,2-trichloroethane (tce) and 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane (tetce) solvents at atmospheric pressure. measurements were obtained in a temperature range between 20.80 °c for chlorine and between0.60 °c for hydrogen chloride. linear regression analysis of the temperature dependence of kh fits van't hoff .type equation from which enthalpy of dissolution dhdis for chlorine and hydrogenchloride can be derived. it was found that the values of δhdis for chlorine and hydrogen chloride rangebetween -32 -25 kj mol^-1 and -23 . -11 kj mol^-1 respectively depending on the solvent.
