|
A rapid spectrophotometric method is developed for the determination of fluoride in the drinking waterand waste water. the system obeys lambert-beer’s law at 715nm in the concentration range of 9.0- 144(mu)g l^-1. molar absorptivity, correlation coefficient and sandell’s sensitivity values were found to be 0.876 x 103 l mol^-1 cm^-1, 0.9924, 0.02168 mg cm^-1 respectively. the results obtained were reproducible with acceptable rsd 0.0903 -1.8373 %.
