چکیده
|
The essential oil of three cymbopogon species has been analyzed by gc-ms. the major constituent of c.citratus was found to be citral (67%), geraniol (12%), geranyl acetate (10%) and limonine (6%). the major component of c. flexuosus was found to be citral (61%), geraniol (13%), geranyl acetate (8%) and limonine (6%). the major component of c. nardus was found to be geraniol (58%), citral (14%), geranylacetate (7%) and limonine (4%). these essential oils were evaluated separately for anthelmintic activity.the activities were better when compared to standard piperazine citrate.
