چکیده    The dissociation constant of ligand (hl) where l is 3-methoxy-2-benzofuran [2'-hydroxynapthyl] carbohydrazide (mbhnc) was determined ph metrically. the stability constant of the complexes formed between co(ii), ni(ii), cu(ii), cd(ii), zn(ii), hg(ii), uo2(vi) and th(iv) have been determined using irving- rossotti ph titration technique in 70:30 %(v/v) alcohol-water medium at 30 ± 1°c temperature and at constant ionic strength of 0.1 m naclo4. the correlation between log k, values and some of the fundamental properties of the central metal ions are discussed.
