نقدی بر سنت علمی جونپوری درکتاب جامع بهادرخانی

در ﺳﺪهﻫﺎی ﻫﻔﺪﻫﻢ ﺗﺎ ﻧﻮزدﻫﻢ، ﻫﻨﺪوﺳﺘﺎن ﺷﺎﻫﺪ ﻣﻮج ﮔﺴﺘﺮدهای ﺑﺮای ﺗﺮﺟﻤﻪ و ﺑﺎزﻧﻮﯾﺴﯽ و ﺟﻤﻊآوری ﻣﺘﻮن ﻓﺎرﺳﯽ و ﻋﺮﺑﯽ داﻧﺸﻤﻨﺪان ﻣﺴﻠﻤﺎن ﺑﻮده اﺳﺖ. ﺟﺎﻣﻊ ﺑﻬﺎدرﺧﺎﻧﯽ، ﻧﻮﺷﺘﮥ ﻏﻼﻣﺤﺴﯿﻦ ﺟﻮﻧﭙﻮری، ﺑﻪﻋﻨﻮان ﯾﮑﯽ از دایره‌المعارف های ﺷﺒﻪﻗﺎره در ﻗﺮن ﻧﻮزدﻫﻢ، در ﺣﻮزه‌ ﺣﺴﺎب و ﻫﻨﺪﺳﻪ و ﻧﻮرﺷﻨﺎﺳﯽ و ﻧﺠﻮم، دورﻧﻤﺎﯾﯽ از ﻧﻮع ﻧﮕﺎه ﻋﻠﻤﯽ ﺣﺎﮐﻢ ﺑﺮ ﻣﺪارس ﻋﻠﻤﯽ ﺷﺒﻪﻗﺎره را ﺑﻪ ﻣﺎ ﻣﯽدﻫﺪ. ﺑﺎوﺟﻮد آﻧﮑﻪ در اﯾﻦ ﺳﻪ ﻗﺮن، اﺳﺘﻌﻤﺎر ﺑﺮﯾﺘﺎﻧﯿﺎ ﺑﺮ ﺗﻤﺎم ﻧﻬﺎدﻫﺎی آﻣﻮزﺷﯽ و ﻋﻠﻤﯽ ﻫﻨﺪوﺳﺘﺎن اﺣﺎﻃﻪ داﺷﺘﻪ، ﻫﻤﭽﻨﺎن ﭘﺎﯾﮥ ﻣﻄﺎﻟﻌﺎت ﻧﺠﻮﻣﯽ ﺟﻮﻧﭙﻮری در ﻗﺮن ﻧﻮزدﻫﻢ ﺑﺮاﺳﺎس ﻣﺪل ﻣﻨﺴﻮخ ﺑﻄﻠﻤﯿﻮﺳﯽ و ﻣﺘﻮن ﻣﮑﺘﺐ ﻧﺠﻮﻣﯽ ﻣﺮاﻏﻪ و ﺳﻤﺮﻗﻨﺪ اﺳﺖ؛ ﻫﻤﭽﻨﯿﻦ در ﻣﺒﺤﺚ ﻣﻨﺎﻇﺮ و ﻣﺮاﯾﺎ، ﻫﻤﺎن ﻣﮑﺘﺐ اﻗﻠﯿﺪس را ﭘﯿﺶ ﻣﯽﮔﯿﺮد ﮐﻪ در ﻏﺮبِ ﻗﺮن ﻧﻮزدﻫﻢ، اﺛﺮی از آن در ﻧﻮرﺷﻨﺎﺳﯽ ﺟﺪﯾﺪ وﺟﻮد ﻧﺪاﺷﺖ. در اﯾﻦ ﻣﻘﺎﻟﻪ ﺑﺎ روش ﺗﻮﺻﯿﻔﯽ-ﺗﺤﻠﯿﻠﯽ ﺑﻪ ﺑﺮرﺳﯽ ﭼﮕﻮﻧﮕﯽ و ﭼﺮاﯾﯽ دﻟﺒﺴﺘﮕﯽ ﺟﻮﻧﭙﻮری ﺑﻪ ﺳﻨّﺖ ﻋﻠﻢ ﻗﺪﯾﻢ ﻣﯽﭘﺮدازﯾﻢ.
