نقد واژگانیِ ترجمۀ شیخ عبدالحق محدّث دهلوی از فتوح‌الغیب (با تکیه بر سطح معنایی-لغوی گارسس)

نقد واژگانی از جمله نقدهایی است که برای سنجش ترجمه‌های متون گوناگون به‌کار می‌رود. الگوی ارزیابی کیفیت ترجمۀ گارسس (1994) از جمله جامع‌ترین الگوهای ارائه شده در این نوع نقد است که به طور ریشه‌ای به ارزیابی کیفیت ترجمه می‌پردازد و بر اصلِ برابری میان متن مبدا و مقصد در چهار سطح معنایی– لغوی، نحوی– صرفی، گفتمانی– نقشی و سبکی– مقصود‌شناختی، استوار است. این پژوهش در نظر دارد تا با روش توصیفی-تحلیلی انتخاب‌های واژگانی ترجمۀ محدّث دهلوی از فتوح الغیب را براساس سطح معنایی– لغویِ الگوی گارسس ارزیابی و نقد کند. برای این منظور پس از معرفی اجمالی محدّث دهلوی و ترجمۀ وی، الگوی گارسس به طور مختصر تبیین و سپس کاربستِ مولفه‌های سطح معنایی-لغوی این الگو بر مثال‌های مستخرج از کتاب در عنوان‌های جداگانه، ذکر می‌شود. یافته‌های این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد ترجمۀ محدّث دهلوی از منظر مولفه‌های الگوی گارسس دارای معیار مقبولیت بوده و از کیفیت قابل قبولی برخوردار است؛ زیرا علاوه بر تفسیری بودن، موارد فراوانی از معادل‌سازی و همانندی، بسط واژگانی و همچنین رفع ابهام را در خود دارد.

Lexical Critique of Abdul Haq Dehlvi’s Translation of Fotuh AlGhayb (Relying on the SemanticLinguistic Level of Garces’ Theory)

Vocabulary critique is one of the critiques used to evaluate translations of various texts. Garces’ (1994) theory is one of the most comprehensive models presented in this type of critique, which radically evaluates the quality of translation and is based on the principle of equality between the source and destination text at four levels: semanticlexical, syntacticexplicit, discourserole, and stylecognitive purpose. This research intends to evaluate and critique the lexical choices of Mohaddith Dehlavi’s translation of Fotuh alGhayb based on the semanticlexical level of Garces’ model by a descriptiveanalytical method. For this purpose, after a brief introduction of Mohaddith Dehlavi and his translation, Garces’ theory is briefly explained, and then the applicable cases of this theory are mentioned in detail in separate titles on the examples taken from the book. The findings of this study show that the terms of Dehlavi’s translation can be evaluated and criticized from the perspective of the components of Garces’ theory. In addition to being interpretive, this translation contains many instances of equivalence and similarity, lexical expansion, and ambiguity.
