تحول در ساختار قدرت جهانی و تاثیرآن بر روابط ایالات‌متحده و عربستان سعودی

با فروپاشی شوروی و تبدیل ساختار قدرت جهانی از دوقطبی به تک‌قطبی، بار دیگر مناطق به‌عنوان خرده سیستم‌های تاثیرگذار اهمیت بالایی یافت؛ بر این اساس ایالات‌متحده نیز تلاش کرد تا با اولویت‌بندی خرده سیستم‌های منطقه‌ای بپردازد که در این مسیر خاورمیانه هم به نظر ژئوپلیتیکی و هم از نظر قطبیت انرژی جهان از اهمیت بالایی برخوردار بود. بر این اساس تعیین سلسله‌مراتب قدرت در خاورمیانه با توجه به دوری و نزدیکی به کانون قدرت جهانی انجام پذیرفت که این توزیع قدرت تلاش کرد تا به نزدیک کردن عربستان‌سعودی به‌عنوان بازیگر مورد حمایت ایالات‌متحده به مرکز و به حاشیه راندن ایران پس از انقلاب 1979 بپردازد. از سوی دیگر قطب‌های قدرت منطقه‌ای مانند جمهوری اسلامی نیز حاضر به پیرامونی شدن در ساختار قدرت منطقه‌ای نبود بنابراین، این امکان که توزیع قدرت مطلوب ایالات‌متحده در منطقه به هم بخورد افزایش می‌یافت که درنهایت ایالات‌متحده را به‌سوی تقویت عربستان‌سعودی سوق داد. بر این اساس سوال اصلی این است که ایالات‌متحده از چه ابزارهایی برای تقویت عربستان سعودی استفاده کرده است؟ که پاسخ این سوال را می‌توان در سه متغیر «تداوم روابط بر اساس منافع و تهدیدات مشترک»، «گستره و ماهیت روابط نظامی» و «وابستگی متقابل اقتصادی» جستجو کرد.

The evolution of the global power structure and its impact on the relationship between the United States and Saudi Arabia

With the collapse of the Soviet Union and the transformation of the power structure from bipolar to monopolitic, the regions became more important as subsystems; Accordingly, the United States has sought to redistribute power in the regionsthe main question is what are the variables of the continuity of strategic relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia? It is hypothesized that the continuity of the relationship variables can be summarized in: &continuity of relationships based on shared interests and threats,& &the scope and nature of military relations,& and &economic interdependence&. Accordingly, the study attempts to investigate issue based on the causal research and multivariate correlation,and the basis of documentary data, . Finally, the common interests and threats, the type of communication and the movement from economy to security and asymmetric reciprocity, have provided the context for the strategic link between Saudi Arabia and the United States, which underscores the continuation of the strategic relationship between the two countries.
