نقد پسین از فرض پیشین جهان‌شمولی شهود

نقش شهود در فلسفه بسیار گسترده است. این گستردگی نقش و اهمیت ویژه آن به خاطر کاربردی است که برای شهود به عنوان شاهد و گواه در توجیه بسیاری از باورهای مبناییدر نظر گرفته می شود. از آشناترین موارد ایفای چنین نقشی برای شهود می توان به مثال هایی مثل گتیه در معرفت شناسی، ملت چین در فسلفه ذهن، یا پیوند عضو در فلسفه اخلاق و غیره اشاره کرد. آنچه در این مثال ها اهمیت دارد آنست که در تمامی آنها شهودهای عقلانی، عام و جهانشمول در نظر گرفته می شوند. اما در ادامه پروژه کواین در طبیعی سازی معرفت شناسی و نظریات برون گرایانه معرفت شناسانی چون گلدمن، جریان متاخری که «فلسفه آزمایشگرانه» خوانده می شوند، سعی نموده اند شهود را به صورت علمی و آزمایشگاهی بررسی کنند. این شیوه بررسی به نقش علم و دستاوردهای آن برای حل مسائل فلسفی بسیار توجه دارد و با طرح آزمایش هایی سعی نموده نشان دهد که تفاوت های فرهنگی، موجد تفاوت در شهود عقلانی و یا اخلاقی افراد بوده و دیگر نمی توان شهود را دستاویز و ابزاری برای طرح نظریه خود در نظر گرفت.

The Universality of Intuition an aposteriori Criticize to an apriori Assumption

Intuition has a central role in philosophy, the role to arbitrating between different opinions. When a philosopher shows that quot intuitionquot supports his view, he thinks this is a good reason for him. In contrast, if we show some contraries between intuition and a theory or some implications of it, we think a replacement or at least some revisions would be needed. There are some wellknown exles of this role for intuition in many fields of philosophy the transplant case in ethics, the chinese nation case in philosophy of mind and the Gettier exles in epistemology. But there is an assumption here we suppose all people think in same manner, i.e. we think intuition(s) is universal. Experimental philosophy tries to study this assumption experimentally. This project continues Quine's movement to quot pursuit of truthquot from a naturalistic point of view and making epistemology quot as a branch of natural science.quot The work of experimental philosophy shows that in many cases people with different cultural backgrounds reflect to some specific moral or epistemological cases ndash like Gettier exles differently and thus intuition is not universal. So, many problems that are based on this assumption maybe dissolved, have plural forms for plural cultures or bounded to some specific cultures ndash western culture in many cases.
