معانی وجود در کتاب‌العلل (کتاب الایضاح فی‌الخیر المحض لارسطوطالیس)

بحث از «وجود» از قدیمی‌ترین بحث‌های فلسفی است و در متون عربی فیلسوفان با اصطلاح‌هایی متعدد از جمله «انیّت»، «هویّت»، «کون» و «ایس» بیان شده است. وجود در کتاب‌العلل با اصطلاح «انیّت» به‌ معنای «وجود» و «هویّت» به ‌معنای «موجود» و «کون» به ‌معنای «به ‌وجود آمدن» مطرح شده است و معنای وجود برای مراتب هستی متفاوت است. معنایِ وجود برای علت نخستین، وجود محض است؛ اما برای مراتب دیگر عقل و نفس، «وجود محدود» است. توماس بر اساس باب هشتم کتاب‌العلل، در شرح این کتاب گفته است «وجود» در کتاب‌العلل به‌ معنای «فعل وجود» نیست. بر این اساس، این مساله را طرح می‌کنیم که «وجود» در کتاب‌العلل به چه معنایی به کار رفته است؟ آیا می‌توان به نظر توماس پاسخی دیگر داد؟ برای بررسی این مساله و پاسخ به این پرسش‌ها با روش توصیفی – تحلیلی، اصطلاح‌های مختلف وجود و کاربست معنایی آن‌ها در کتاب‌العلل را به تبیین می‌کنیم و به این نتیجه می‌رسیم که «وجود» در اطلاق آن برای خدا، وجود محض، برای عقل «نخستین موجود» و برای موجودات به ‌معنای «فعل وجود دادن» است.

the discussion of &existence& is one of the oldest philosophical discussions, and it is expressed in the arabic texts of philosophers with several terms such as &anniyya&, &huwiyya&, &kawn& and &ays&. existence is presented in the book of causes with the term &anniyya& (esse) meaning &being& and &huwiyya& (ens), meaning &being& and &kawn& meaning &coming to be& and the meaning of existence is different for the hierarchy of existence. the meaning of existence for the first cause is pure existence. still, for other levels of intellect and soul, it is &limited existence.& based on the eighth chapter of the book of causes, thomas said in the description of this book that &existence& in the book of causes does not mean &act of being&. therefore, we raise the issue of what meaning of &existence& is used in the book of causes. is it possible to give another answer to thomas’s theory? to investigate this issue and answer these questions with a descriptive-analytical method, we explain the different terms of existence and their semantic usage in the book of causes. we come to the conclusion that &existence& refers to god, pure being, for the &first intelligence being& and for creatures, it means &give existence&.
