زندگی و آثار استاد حاج محمدتقی معمار شوشتری

با گذر از کوچه پس کوچه‌های بافت تاریخی شهر شوشتر، با بناهایی روبه‌رو می‌شویم که بر پیشانی آنها نقوش و تزئینات متنوع نقش بسته است و از ذوق و هنر نقش‌آفرینان آن حکایت می‌کند. پدیدآورندگان این آثار معمارانی هستند که هنر خود را بر سنگ و آجر به ظهور رسانده‌اند. بسیاری از این استادان برای نسل  امروز ناشناخته مانده‌اند و بیم آن می‌رود که گذر زمان مختصر اطلاعات موجود درباره احوال و آثار آنها را به دست فراموشی و نابودی بسپارد.استاد حاج محمدتقی معمارباشی از جمله استادانی است که بسیار از خانه‌ها، مساجد و برخی سازه‌های آبی و دیگر بناهای تاریخی شهر شوشتر را ساخته است. این مقاله می‌کوشد ابتدا به معرفی ایشان بپردازد و سپس کارها و طرح‌های ایشان را مورد بررسی قرار دهد.
