تصمیم‌گیری درشرایط بحرانی از حساسیت و احتمال ریسک بالاتری نسبت به وضعیت عادی برخوردار است به‌گونه‌ای که گاها شرایط خاص بحرانی باعث تصمیم‌گیری‌هایی می‌گردد که ممکن است فواید ویاآسیب هایی درسطح ملی ایجاد نماید. سیستم های اطلاعات مدیریت تاثیر بسیار مهمی در تصمیم‌گیری در شرایط بحران برای فرماندهان را خواهد داشت.با توجه به ماهیت حضورشناورها دردریا و اینکه برابرقوانین بین‌المللی می‌تواند تا مرزهای آبی کشورهای دیگرحضورداشته باشد لذا احتمال بروز وضعیتی بحرانی و نیاز به تصمیم گیری در این شرایط که همراه با پیامدهایی برای حاکمیت خواهد بود وجود دارد. محدودیت‌های فکری ، نیاز به اطلاعات و دانش‌ ، سرعت دسترسی به حجم زیادی از اطلاعات درفشاربسیاروزمان اندک ازجمله مواردی است که یک فرمانده دردریا با آن مواجه خواهد بود.این پژوهش با هدف بررسی تاثیرنقش mis درتصمیم‌گیری سریع ،دقیق ومناسب فرماندهان دروضعیت بحرانی دردریا انجام گردیده است. ضمن انجام مطالعات کتابخانه ای دربخش میدانی ازابزارپرسشنامه استفاده گردیده است وبا توجه به محدودیت خبرگان این حوزه ،جامعه آماری با حجم نمونه برابر وازتعداد20 نفرازفرماندهانی که سابقه خدمت با سنوات بالا برروی واحد های شناورداشتند انتخاب گردیدند. سپس با استفاده ازنرم افزاراس پی اس اس وآزمونt سطح معناداری مشخص گردید و نتایج حاصل ازیافته‌های تحقیق نشان می‌دهد که کلیه اجزاء mis برعوامل تصمیم گیری بحران نظامی دردریا تاثیرگذارمی‌باشند.
