نقش رسانه‌ها در پیشگیری از جرم و تامین امنیت

زمینه و هدف: راهبردهای پیشگیری از جرم، یکی از مباحث مطرح در حوزه جرم‌شناسی است که در راستای کنترل و مدیریت جرائم با بهره گیری از ظرفیت‌های مختلف حاکمیتی و جامعوی در قبل، حین و بعد از وقوع جرم تدوین می‌گردند. با توجه به تاثیر فراوان رسانه‌های جمعی در این خصوص، هدف از این پژوهش بررسی نقش رسانه‌ها در پیشگیری از جرم و تامین امنیت است. روش‌شناسی:‌از نظر هدف، این پژوهش کاربردی و از نظر روش انجام توصیفی پیمایشى است. جامعه آمارى تعداد 81 نفر از متولیان پیشگیری از جرم و حجم نمونه بر اساس فرمول کوکران با حداقل5 در صد خطا تعداد 67 نفر محاسبه شده است. ابزار مورد استفاده پرسش‌نامه محقق ساخته بود که پایایى پرسشنامه با اندازه‌ گیری ضریب آلفای کرونباخ  به مقدار 89% می‌باشد روایی پرسش‌نامه نیز با استفاده از نظر خبرگان و بررسی ظاهری (روایی صوری) مورد ارزیابی و تایید قرار گرفت. داده‌هاى جمع‌آورى شده با استفاده از نرم افزار spss و با آزمون‌های آمارى تی، فریدمن و رگرسیون مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفته است. یافته‌ها: یافته‌های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که رسانه‌های جمعی در پیشگیری از جرم و تامین امنیت عمومی با تاکید بر فرهنگ‌ سازی عمومی به صورت مستقیم و غیرمستقیم و با مجموع میزان 0/498 موثرند. بنا بر آزمون فریدمن برای تعیین اولویت کارکردهای مختلف تاثیر رسانه‌ها در پیشگیری از جرم و تامین امنیت عمومی، کارکرد فرهنگ‌ سازی از طریق رسانه با میزان 2/94 نسبت به سایر کارکردها، در اولویت قرار گرفت. نتیجه گیری: فرهنگ‌سازی عمومی، الگوسازی و در تامین نیازهای استنباطی و اطلاعاتی فرهنگ ‌عمومی در راستای پیشگیری از جرم تاثیر دارند و در نتیجه متولیان و مسئولان عرصه پیشگیری از جرم در جامعه بایستی با رویکردی تعاملی و مشارکتی و با استفاده تخصصی و صحیح از کارکردها و ظرفیت‌های سلبی و ایجابی رسانه‌ها نسبت به تعمیم فرهنگ پیشگیری از جرم و تامین امنیت در جامعه اقدام نمایند.

The Role of Media in Crime Prevention and Security

Background and objectives: Crime prevention strategies are one of the topics in the field of criminology that are developed in order to control and manage crimes by using different governance and community capacities before, during and after the crime. Given the great influence of the mass media in this regard, the purpose of this study is to investigate the role of the media in crime prevention and security. Methodology: In terms of its objectives the present study is of an applied research type and in terms of its nature it is considered as descriptivesurvey. The statistical population is 81 individuals in charge of crime prevention and the sample size is calculated as 67 individuals based on Cochran’s formula with at least 5% error. The instrument used was a researchermade questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was 89% by measuring Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. The validity of the questionnaire was evaluated and confirmed using expert opinion and face validity. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software and ttest, Friedman and regression tests. Findings: Findings indicate that mass media are directly and indirectly effective in crime prevention and public security by emphasizing public culturemaking with a total of 0.498. According to Friedman test, to determine the priority of different functions of media influence in crime prevention and public security, the function of culturemaking through the media with a rate of 2.94 compared to other functions, was prioritized. Results: Public culture building, modeling and providing inferential and informational needs of public culture are effective in preventing crime. As a result, those in charge of crime prevention in the society should take an interactive and participatory approach and use the negative and positive functions and capacities of the media in a specialized and correct way to generalize the culture of crime prevention and security in the society
